I ran those beads in a set of 35“ mud tires. They were worthless. After a year or so, got a new pair of mud tires and just went with the normal weights and it was drastically better. It was so bad, I almost passed on buying anymore Nitto trail grapplers. You could tell when they’d balance the tire after 4-5 miles on the roadway but sometimes they didn’t and if you stopped it all started off balance again.

Have you heard of centramatic balancing rings? They go on the hub before the tire. I have heard good things about them.

I run a shocker hd. Good rating good ride doesn’t stick out a mile and good adjustability. Pricey but they are awesome

I've been looking at a hitch like the new one too. Looking to see how it works out. Balance beads are junk for big tires and 19.5s. look into centramatic balancers all around.

I've always heard it's good to re-check torque on aluminum wheels after initial install. I've never had any issues, but apparently it's a thing.

Did those Double Coins end up in those steers? If so, those must be the most round Double Coins I’ve ever seen. Most of those RT600s spin like an egg on a balancer, and even most of the decent ones shake even when balanced.

@@VBELTandSON I will see. We run Goodyears at the railroad but when we get new trucks they have more of a highway tread and we usually switch them out for more aggressive off-road tread. They might have the 225.65 195s on those trucks

This may seem weird but it’s worked great for me and my friends on our class 8 trucks, but we put a cup of antifreeze in each tire. Yep just a cup of good ol antifreeze.

I've just noticed the better the tire (and rim) usually the better the balance. I check all the lugs once a month on aluminum wheels. Every once in awhile I catch one 1/2 turn loose. No pattern to it either. Strange... --gary

I really dont like how the Bulletproof hitches ball starts rust after the ceramic coating wears off (first few tows) and the shank sticks out too far. Curious to see how this new one holds up!

I bought a 20 k fastway adjustable 2 ball hitch from etrailer and love it. It is not fancy looking but it is heavy as hell and solid. I tow a lot of different rvs for the dealer I work at so it gets lots of use . And it is a great price point. I love my b&w s we even sell them but great alternative in a budget. And I have the large shank on a bradfordbuilt flat bed.

@@camodrums I like mine well made and reasonable price point. My flat bed has the huge shank and rates to tow 30k at hitch. So it’s the second time I have had to buy hitches for same truck. Since I wasn’t going to sleeve it. And I had bought b&w turnover in the stock bed . And individual stingers and balls for 3 hitches with stock set up.

Wondering , the tyres you run on the 55's are they 'regrovable' ie you can re cut the treads with a tyre tread cutter ? also if you use good quality commercial tires the cases are worth money for either re-treading or re-molding . As for the tyre you hit the rock with . was the side wall cut ? can you see the cords ? or was it just scuffed ? if the latter it fine to continue using on the front , if the former its scrape if not professionally repairable . Do you run the same tires/tread pattern on the drive as the steer axle ?

Hankook tires 👎 Bought a truck with them on it and learned they are crap on wet road conditions. No traction and unsafe. R and r them with some Michelins.

Don’t know that I could bring myself to put much faith in the Amazon hitches. Maybe their fine, but I’ll be sticking with the bigger name ones for now, even tho it means paying more $. Fortunately I don’t have a fleet of trucks to equip.

Majority of semi tires are unbalanced, a 19.5 has the same style sidewall/rim as a “”light duty” tire

thats always my concern with dually (a rock between the gaps). Maybe go super single if possible. Dont forget to plastidip your rims but not the center caps. make it look like a cop rims.

I used to run the same lockable pin for my hitch just like the style you have. After the locking mechanism vibrated itself loose and wondered somewhere on the interstate I will never use them again. Thankfully I was not attached to a trailer at the time (yes, that's what chains are for but I don't want to ever get to that point of failure). They're great against theft but they do have other safety related issues.

I put balance beads in all my tires. Always in balance. Letter load range means nothing the three digit is the only way to tell for sure. I love when a shitbox thinks they are going to jump me at a light. Sitting there at 9400 pounds and I just get a half truck ahead of them so they have to brake for the two to one lane change. Sometimes I just get on it and leave them way way back. They try but they got nothing.

My buddies and I have a few off road rigs with 37'', 38" and 40" M/T's and none of us have had those balanced, For two reasons, most shops won't touch anything above a 35" here and no shop will touch beadlocks. And for what it's worth, they ride down the pavement better than the wife's SUV. Oh and I rock Gen-Y.

Those square keyed locking hitch Pins are weak where the lathe cuts the lock detent groove. taking too much material went to unlock one and it snapped.

I have the extreme duty bulletproof hitches with stabilizer bars on all my trucks including my western hauler Freightliner. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them and have even been posted on their instagram page. I’ve never thought of asking them for free stuff. Honestly, it was this channel that helped make up my mind to pull the trigger on a couple of these for my trucks. In fact, when I was about to purchase my first one, I went back and watched the video about him recommending them to see if they threw him a discount code for his viewers and was surprised they didn't. I'm sure they have had quite a few hundred purchases at least from the viewership of this channel just because we get to see actual real-world use and not just some advertisement or social media platform pushing a product they don't even use themselves.

Trust me a discount code would have been awesome and appreciated and I only planned on buying the one. If you were trying to get a code to share with your viewers, I can understand the frustration with the company. After hearing about them from a friend, I started to look into them. Then I noticed that you were using them on your trucks while watching your channel. Those things were what had me pretty set on buying one. I will say I am curious to see how the other one holds up. I saw them when searching for a new one for my truck but was leery after past amazon experiences.
