From an ex member of the UK RAF , but who's family where navy , I've heard of the dreadnoughts, seen the old footage , but seeing the last giant lady at sea even though she was being towed was awe inspiring. To think of all the brave sailors who served on her , and the enemies she has faced. And she's still here. Respect to the Texas. May your Restoration bring you back to us. Good speed lady.

Beautiful. Thank you. Sure would of liked to be on one of the tugs hugging and guiding Texas. She, to me, stands also for the USS Houston lying at the bottom of the sea. Keep saving the battleships - to remember what honor and sacrifice for freedom was like.
