Just got me a 2.7 2016, it replaced my 2000 7.3 and also my 06 5.3 cateye I had for when the 7.3 had issues. I got fed up with all the constant issues from both trucks and got me the 2016 2.7 crew cab same trim and color as yours, been a great daily man love this truck. I still got the 7.3 and 5.3 but this 2.7 outshines those trucks in so many levels. Will keep the old trucks for when I need to throw crap in my bed and don't wanna bang up the 2.7 bed just yet lol

Great info but one bit advise, 75mph pulling single axle trailer never good idea. A blowout on a single axle can be disasterous to you and anyone around you. Be safe

Nice review, thanks for posting. Really wish Ford offered the 2.7 in a crew cab 4x4 and 6.5ft bed. They’d have my money already.

You can lock out the upper gears. When I tow my classic car, I lockout 8, 9 and 10th gear. No need to be in manual. I also get about 17.6 while towing my car.

Great video, 2.7 liters=165 cubic inches that is a tiny engine and I just bought my 2nd truck with this engine, I am totally impressed with the power and the economy, driving in Econ mod I’m getting 22.5 mpg around the house and got 28.5 going to Lexington Kentucky 300+ miles and around 14 pulling 4500 pound camper, my first truck I trade at 94k not because of any problems, but I started thinking how long will it be before the idiots in DC outlaw gas new engine powered vehicle as they try to force EV’s down our throat?

Awesome I had a 2011 single cab 6.0 w 6l90e and 373. Now have a 2020 2.7 ecoboost w 355 haven't pulled much with it. Certainly seems like plenty of torque
