To ventilate a room/building without making it really cold there's a device called a energy-recovery ventilator (ERV). They are generally fairly expensive devices, though, and I think they need to be installed in a wall or ceiling.

*edit 2: plants are more complicated than I assumed and may actually add to the CO2 in the room if they don’t do enough photosynthesis. YMMV but read the reply to my comment for more info.* not sure if you’ve tried this already, but plants, literally just any living green thing, are great for CO2 reduction. it’s their whole thing! they don’t help circulate the air, unfortunately, but will make the air quality better edit: chat is saying they need light or they will actually produce CO2. I don’t think that’s true *(it is; I’m wrong)* but if you have a south-facing window that will probably suffice.

What? Of course it's true. All living organisms perform respiration, turning O2 into CO2. That includes plants of all kinds. Plants can *also* do photosynthesis, but that requires light. Even with light you cannot be certain the O2 produced outweighs the CO2 produced by the respiration. A fully grown plant will not be able to produce O2.

Right? There's also basically an infinite amount of directions you can take your music. Just because you're not 'as good' as the Beatles doesn't mean you can't do something different. And even if you're not doing anything interesting, just having fun making music is also very valid.

It also ignores the existence of genres. Even if you concede that the Beatles are the best that can be achieved, you can't really make an apples-to-apples greatness comparison between them and Mozart or Drake or Cannibal Corpse (examples chosen based on popularity, not as an endorsement of quality, don't @ me). They're all "music," but they're so far removed from each other that trying to say one is better than another is more a statement of genre preference.

But for modern Beatles in terms of musicianship and composition, might I recommend checking out Panopticon? It's a one-man folk black metal project formerly from Kentucky, currently based out of Minnesota that fuses bluegrass folk and fiddles with brutally heavy metal. Seriously worth the time, suggest you check out the newest album "...And Again Into the Light", an examination of mental health in folk and metal that has 50% of its profits being donated to folks with mental health problems Just my two cents :)
