Bit of advice for EVERYONE who shops online. Buy a prepaid Visa gift card and just use that for online purchases. You can put exactly how much you want on there and if a company tries this sort of crap like Neca does, they wont be able to take any automatic payments from you. And youll never risk having personal financial info leaked

I agree, eff NECA. I remember years ago I bought the Gears of War 2 Kantus Priest figure, and the right arm snapped off when I tried bending it. So I contacted customer support, and I never heard back from them.

That sucks. I’ve heard a lot of similar stories. I’ve only started buying from them again 2 or so years ago. I haven’t had a problem and was generally giving them praise until these sewer lairs and now this. Nope.

I remember stuff like this happening in the 1990's with collectibles, Spawn figs I think. Anyways people bought some figs from the comic book store I shopped at, took them home and opened them up. Brought them back, because they were broken, the retailer looked at his remaining stock and saw a factory defect and called the supplier. The supplier told him that these were collectibles and not supposed to be opened. They wouldn't do any returns.

@@maxmiller5619 Since NECA is widely known to ignore messages and waited 3 months to say the first word and have done this twice what were people to do then? For all anyone knew this was a one off. The set was overpriced to begin with so recouping seems the only option. NECA is solely responsible for this situation. Plus if the try to charge they can face massive fines from the FTC.

I wish that this shocked me. NECA is a terrible company. I stopped buying NECA products years ago. Their QC was terrible. Almost everything that I bought was broken in package or it broke shortly after I gently removed the item from the packaging.

I agree with you here. Neca is the one who is at fault not the consumer. They made a huge mistake and expect people to sent them back or get charged and banned from future ordering from their site! If some choose to aend them back great! But it is not the consumers responsibility to right Necas wrong. I see some in the community who are blaming the collector for all this!!! I have lots of NECA products, haven't had one issue with them. Customer service isn't great and there has been lots of complaints in relation to CS in the past but CS are shit in lots of companies you buy from without thinking about it. I made the mistake of ordering directly an ED-209 and An ultimate 2015 Doc Brown and they both were defects!!! ED-209 had a messed up leg, and Doc didn't have the antenna on his boots!! I emailed I'd just take replacement parts and fix them myself, and they said sure... I got nothing. I have been sending emails for 3 years to no avail... I only ordered them directly because my local Hobby shop was out. And I even used thier direct contact for seller discount... So they knew it was going to be a dealer to reciever broken and defective figures. Would Randy really stand for this customer relations?! Randy? I've met him so many times at cons and shows... He's always so perfectional. To me anyway... Ii dunno.. Neca screwed up. Big time.
