Hey Andrew I had this noise in a 2004 HDJ78 series troopy, was driving me insane! Tried to tighten clamp bolts were al tight ended up replacing with rubber hoses fixed unbelievable improvement thanks for steering me in the right direction.

Toyota only started fitting the fuel line damper from 2003 models onwards. I retro fitted one to my 2002 and it helped a lot but you are spot on Andrew, I only truely got rid of the vibration by modifying those fuel line brackets. Oh and of course by getting it serviced properly by you guys. See you in another 5000kms. Dave.

I have a 2001 hdj 100 with the 1hd fte automatic and it has this kind of lose exhaust sound vibration noise Only on load, not coasting on a hwy. I can get it to make that noise on a parking lot when reving the engine with gearbox in drive and pressed brakes

Hello mate yeaaa. This is an annoying sound lol 😂 gotta get it fixed plus I have a question I have a 105 4.2L turbo charged but it has uneven acceleration sometimes its good sometimes its bad what could be the reason. 1000-1500Rpms its good but when I floor it The rpm skips to 3000s and makes a lot of sound but the vehicle gradully jumps up to 100Kmphs after 100 its alright but like sudden accelerations and takeovers are freaking pain lol help needed. Sometimes EGR vaccume switches are going bad idk what could be the reason. Maybe the turbo is bad have no idea.

Ford in the Philippines has the absolute worst customer service and techs I have ever seen. Every time they work on something they damage other parts, every time for me. In fact, they have had to cover their own damage on simple parts. They even scratched my paint so bad, they had to cover the repairs. Lets not get into the fact, the techs are clueless, Ive had to literally explain to them what was wrong. The ONLY reason I bring my vehicle to them is for warranty purpose, in case something costly goes out. I can see where something as simple as this remain a mystery to them. I dont know about Toyota, I would assume they take better care of things. I cant directly blame Ford for this, but i wish they would investigate where their vehicles are going.
