Hello I’m venturing the same task on my 22re however my father whom knows lots more then me about cars has a issue with being in a hurry when he works so in this case he decided to take it upon himself to assemble the timing chain , cover and gaskets but managed to put everything back except the gear that drives the distributor .

So very close to having it ready to fire up. I did the same with my 22R about 13 years ago and all is still running strong.
