"Greese Zerks" I have those blue Moog Poly bushings on my truck also. Be happy it wasn't an A arm busing. You have struts also so the radius/strut rod bushings are suspect also. With a vehicle of that age and miles, I'd be carefully inspecting flexible brake lines. They get neglected. Best to change them before they let go. And how.

I think as recommendations, to torque the links and bar when the car sit on the floor
@JonFox194515 күн бұрын
I second this. On my old beater sedan, I had trouble setting the rear brake drums, it turns out that it had to be adjusted with the full weight of the car. Kinda, suchs for me because you don't really have space once the car is on the floor.

Moot. Spicer. Tons of them honestly. Unless you’re buying their premium products the “cost down manufacturing” really shows. And you save ZERO money buying “cheap” parts when you need to service it again anyways.

Only negative I see is moog dropped the ball in providing a zerk fitting cover like the front ones... Still good that moog provided grease fittings on the typical ball joints👍

Different thoughts about torquing sway bar linkage suspended or dropped on ground after installed/loaded. Finished daughter's 2014 Patriot new linkage suspended, still clunked when driven. Loosened front while on ramp and re-torqued and clunk disappeared! Does not make sense with ball joints in linkage. Any thoughts?

Greese rubber bushings? Think that is overkill, and some grease will eat the rubber and destroy the bushing prematurely.

Need to be careful with Moog branded parts. There is official Moog parts which may be made in US, Mexico, Vietnam, or elsewhere, and there is a fake Moog that is made in China.

I love your videos, but every time you mention that the new part is thicker and beefier than the original as a good thing, I just can't get it around my head. The original part has been there for more than 200,000 miles, and it hasn't failed because it was made with quality materials that withstand the loads without adding extra weight and volume. Reason why you couldn't fit the new one without removing everything. The new parts as everything on these days are made with cheaper materials, and that's why they have to compensate with thickness because they are crap I understand that this is the new standard, but please stop seeing it as something good. You should know better. Again, you are one of my favorites. DYI youtubers, so don't take it the wrong way.
