I have an aygo that’s due an MOT don’t have time within the week to address the issue myself and don’t wanna risk getting skinned for parts I don’t need, most noticeable on my slightly slopped driveway, when I pull up and apply the handbrake the rear passenger side of the car lifts slightly, in damp weather it tends too stick, to avoid most of the above I find if I stop the car completely and leave a gear engaged take the handbrake off so it rolls a few mm where the engine brake applies then apply the handbrake most of the way it holds the car reasonably well and the rear passenger side doesn’t lift as much, so you think the handbrake is over adjusted and the rear driver’s passenger side needs the shoes adjusting too match the opposite side. Thanks

Yes adjustment required to equal handbrake

Thought that would be the case. Much appreciated

Thanks bro!! So when adjusting or turning the adjuster, the shoes should not come into contact with the drum?
@life_on_cars10 ай бұрын
When finished the shoes should be only just catching the drum very slightly 👍

@@life_on_cars understandable, just discovered the channel, went through your three Aygo, c1 107 vids and immediately subs. You really present in such a manner that a layman graps fully. Keep it up 🤝👍
