These hard-working guys are capable of making anything. They use the most minimum of tools. They literally can make something out of nothing. Yet they possess no production assets to speak of, their buildings are falling down, their clothes are falling off of them, there may be a little desperation mixed in too. So if these people can beat a rock and end up with a water pump for a dozer, why are they unable to improve their conditions by these same means? What prevents them from improving their work process if for no other reason to make it easier on themselves? I suspect the owners of this business refuse to allow resources to be used to improve the operation. Why spend money when they keep pulling water pumps like rabbits out of the proverbial hat! I absolutely kills me to watch them use the floor as the work surface. Drill a hole, throw it on the floor. Pick it up, thread the hole. Throw it back on the floor. Throw it down, pick it up, over and over again. Insane. Obviously they can build a manufacturing system as these guys are natural mechanics, why will those profiting not put resources to a more efficient operation? Mind blowing! I guess concern for your fellow man is non existent.
