I assume you disconnected the negative battery terminal before starting the job. Disconnecting the battery is usually a good standard practice when doing any major work under the hood.

Gap is pre-set by the manufacture. Do not gap.

I don’t mean disrespect for Jairo, but he didn’t measure the gap, probably due to inexperience. Any professional would know that spark plugs preset from manufacturer will easily be altered by simply handling them. My advise? Use a calibration instrument right before putting every single one of them in place. Gap gauges are super cheap. Look for Scotty Kilmer’s channel on KZbin.

Hi, well.. I've been doing this for a long time that's the reason. I'm really not sure about the spec but for experience I know when stop tightening.. this is something like replacing an oil filter, just tightening by hand.

Hi. If u use the same spark plug (the original brand, the same that I am using in the video) you can change it between 15000 to 18000 miles.... The manufacturer says to replace it between 25 to 30... but If you plan to keep your car for long time, and have a good compression change it no more than 18000 miles.

Ali علي Cars&things according to the manufacturer it will last 30000 miles but I use to replace it between 15000 and 20000 miles.

@@luptonpittman6520 Yes you are correct. The owners manual for the 2014 toyota camry says to replace them every 120,000 miles or 192,000 kilometers. These cars come with "iridium" spark plugs that's why they last so long. Just because they are so easy to replace doesn't mean you should replace them a lot sooner than required.

Hi. The manufacturer says that there is not need to calibrate the space of the spark.

@@jairdean Yes there's no need to calibrate if the spark plugs are fresh off the original packaging. The preset gap should be good unless they are dropped or banged around for any reason. These are "Iridium" spark plugs and should be replaced every 120,000 miles as per Toyota user manual.
