Thank you so much for making this video! My daughter has went for weeks with her FOB not working. We went to autozone and they advised taking it to a dealer. I asked my son’s about it and they said they wasn’t sure either and may need to take it to a dealer. I found your video, watched it, went to Dollar Tree and found the battery and was able to change it in 3 minutes and for no more than $1.25! I can’t thank you enough because I hate to think what a dealer would’ve charged us to do this.

I appreciate this video. Thank you. I had 2 fobs. 1 fob was working and the other one did not. My husband took it to one of those alarm places that fixes key fobs and install alarms. Of course the guy said the computer of your key fob does not work is going to cost $300 to fix. I said that's too much. A friend told me once before fixing any computer, or fob Always change the battery 1st. 9 out of 10 times it's the battery. I bought the battery for my 2017 Toyota Corolla-CR2016 through the link of this video. I received it installed it and now both Toyota keyfobs work amazingly and from a whole block away. I was so excited. Thank you so much for this video.

Just to note I have a Toyota Corolla 2006 and in New Zealand the fob key takes a CR 1616 battery. This is significant smaller in diameter to the CR2016. Thanks.
