Thanks for this. I was able to do the job. Only difficulty was that my 'new battery did not easily click into place. There was not quite enough room to slip it beneath the three tabs holding it. I may have damaged one of them, but it works anyway.

You can more easily use the key inside the keyboard to open it up and get battery out. That way you don’t need to search for a screwdriver or other object.
