That's awesome! We had to use our phones to navigate for a while but once we got the new map card updated it is so much nicer to use the built in navigation.

It is 0E075 there is an amazon affiliate link in the video description if you want to check it out. It helped us a lot. They built a lot of new roads around here and the original navigation card wasn't showing all the new roads.

Hi, good tutorial. Is your map card still working fine? I´ve seen in forums that some cards stop working (for some reason) after few months of use.

It probably depends on the card. We installed this card in August of 2023. So it has lasted for over a year now. I have some links in the video description if you want to look at the card I used.

I told my friend about this and he still chose to have the upgrade done at the dealership. It cost him close to $500. Yes, my friend is stupid. 😊

I couldn't find an app. There is a module that you can buy to connect to the back of the car's infotainment system that will allow you to use Android auto or Apple carplay. It looks pretty cool so I might buy one and make a video about it.

Can we get a free upgrade from the car dealer？Do I have to buy this myself？

You can always ask your dealer. If you have a service plan it may be included but as far as I know they don't offer a free upgrade for this navigation card. Let me know if you are able to get a free upgrade from your dealer.

@@TunaSoda The chip is pretty easy to put in. So yeah that's a big savings to do it yourself.

How to update the maps in a 2022 Toyota Highlander?

I am not sure? Most of the Navigation cards that I have seen on Amazon are for older models. I think the new navigation systems are cloud based and need to be updated online. But I am not 100% sure on that.
