I own a hyryder. According to the MID I get 26-28 in city and more than 30 on the highway. I have been driving with the AC on. I have found that this car is cheaper than the City transport and Metro. Just some patience and slight change of driving technique. When I used to drive it like a normal car at speeds above 100 kmph in the highway and zip and zoom in the city, I used to get 15-20 kmpl only.

I own toyota hycross i travelled from pune to ahemdabad around 680 km and still 120 km range was left it took around Rs.4400/- to fill up the tank and that also in summer with 6 passengers ans both AC were full on gr8 millage and comfort

It is unfair comparison, the PHEV has a battery to run a fair bit, if you run it till the fuel runs out, you will see the BMW drop to less than 6-7 kmpl if u r lucky.

It wouldn’t be one even if the XM was a traditional hybrid 😄. It’s not intended to be a traditional comparison when one car is a fraction of the other’s price. We’re just trying to show how PHEVs run, why the claimed fuel efficiency is so high and what that actually means in the real world. The Hyryder is a control to show what a regular hybrid does in similar conditions

Mumbai to pune mileage is usually 20% to 30% less then pune to mumbai. So for hyryder mileage drive it back to mumbai for correct readings

this is misleading.. if you run the xm more.. the efficiency will drop a lot.. the 17 kmpl is not correct. the real test will be running it till fuel ends and then calculating
