I'm telling you don't bother. In standard form they are way over priced and you need to fix many design faults and then spend a fortune to get them ready for off road work. Even after all that there is very little room inside the cabin, terrible seats, terrible infotainment system, wait a minute they don't have one. This stupid tester says heaps of grunt, no, if you check the specs very low power output and low torque, need to spend more money to get a reasonable power and torque outputs.

For that price and you don't get anything..that's just stupid. You can get a ranger with that price and you still look good in it. Amazing how Toyota can make something without giving anything and charge any price they like. Chinese or Indian car makers have wet dream about that every night.

Toyota is cashing on that mindset. there is NO vehicle on earth that won't break down and don't have trouble. Given it is more mechanical than electronic and more robust - still does NOT warrant the price they are charging - in fact a genuine price for a vehicle like that would be $49990 drive away.That still gives a bucket load of profit to Toyota. The flaws are quite terrible really and can only be accepted if sub $50k- discrepant tracks front and rear; no snorkel (raised intake only which is not water proof); dodgy alternator; stiff suspension with no flex. Go anywhere capability- sure it has but in the hand of real 4WD experts.

Ah yes one of the most overrated 4wd on the planet, I watched this for a laugh and that's what I got. 😁 Seriously I can't believe you "Drive people" call yourselves "experts"? Experts in what exactly? Poor journalism? All you did was repeat what Toyota say in their marketing, what's the point of that? There's none of the important information for those considering this type of vehicle. "Drive" should nearly be as embarrassed with journalistic skills as Toyota is with its vehicle, if it wasn't for its v8 diesel and the fact that there's no competition in this class of vehicle, it would be a complete fail. 😂
@jonathanmilla46045 жыл бұрын
Toyota deals with people who cares about reliability, this fucking vehicles are expensive and they don't offer you much commodity but it's reliable, I have a Toyota car wish I had one of these trucks
@aussiefirie5 жыл бұрын
You clearly have no idea on what you're talking about and really talk out of your arse. The Landcruiser will out last any other 4wd and has done since before the V8 was introduced back in the 76 series wagon and Troopie. The old 6cyl diesel was more reliable and out performed modern engines in other 4wds.
