How do you installed the 4 screws on the side of the unit to make it securely sitting on the dash?

The unit slides in and you secure screws to the plastic bracket

Can we plug in the factory microphone into the unit? So that we can use the pre-installed microphone and don’t have to deal with new wiring

Actually you don’t even have to plug in microphone because there is built in microphone into the unit.

Im assuming you lose all the car- specific screens like the mpg record?

No it stays on but you have to go and look for it in different location not like on the main screen. This info is in the car info app

Yea it does show hybrid mode but no energy flow from what i read

My RAV 4 doesn't have GPS. Will the GPS that comes in the package work in my RAV 4? Thanks

So when you install this head unit it comes with that GPS and it works even when when you have no connection on your phone. You can use that gps only when you are in android auto mode, also that GPS is not that great i prefer google through my phone.
