They didn’t just ruin the Camry by removing the V6. They also removed the reliable 2.5 gas only engine that got 40+ mpg. Hybrid is very expensive to diagnose and repair after 10 years. My 2010 Camry hybrid battery failed in 2017 at 146K and Toyota refused to replace under warranty, cost was $6400+tax so I had to sell it, wasn’t worth it.

Family had a Camry hybrid from 2014 and it’s still running fine. Driving a Lexus es300h and it’s fine as well. Getting 45 mpg on the Lexus and 50 on the Camry. Most people aren’t gonna care cause they’re driving a Camry and good mpg and reliability is all they want

Who buys a Camry for performance? 😂, those things can’t go fast off of a cliff. Had some clown pull up to me with his TRD Camry thinking he had something. He punched it and I just planted my foot. Left him looking like a rape victim 😂. Guess he didn’t see the 550 badge on the back of my Benz.

Well the V6 Camrys can keep up with a lot of cars and I’d rather have a V6 than a boring 4 cylinder

I always find it funny that there are people who complain that anything that doesn’t do 0 to 60 in under 4 is crap or boring. They’re usually people who haven’t driven the cars they’re complaining about. LOL 😂 Most previous Camrys that Toyota sold (over 90 %) were the 4 cylinder. The 2025s are faster than the previous 4 cylinder and get nearly twice the gas mileage.

@@EddieV19 you responded to somebody’s else’s comment that this channel is about fast not MPG, so sounds like you really don’t know what you want. Also whether four-cylinder is boring or that a V6 will always be better in the Camry is just your opinion which is always subjective. It’s obviously true for you but not for most people. Due to CAFE standards, Toyota needed to make the changes. Besides, almost nobody bought the v6. So why continue to make something no one buys? Not every car is for everybody.

Tundra has twin turbo and an almost 450hp tt v6 hybrid. I think they are also gonna get the iforcemax turbo i4 hybrid for the camry version too. So where you getting your info my guy?

@@EddieV19 Which ones? The GR Yaris and GR Corolla destroys itself with its transmission due to taking out 300horsies from a fricking 3 cylinder. Pretty stupid idea despite coming from Toyota. The Supra is a BMW Z4 with BMW Engines and Chassis Production just with a Toyota Design (Z4 but not convertible). And the GR86 is a Subi in Toyota Badging. The Engine is also catastrophically trash. The only thing that screams performance about Toyota is their Lexus equivalent built 5L V8 Naturally Aspirated engine with about 477hp. It might not be quicker than the Germans but it will most definetly outlive all the cars engines listed above.
