As an aircraft mechanic it’s opposite. We out the bolt head facing forward. If the nut falls off the wind will theoretically speaking keep the bolt in place because it’s pushing and giving force. Against that bolt head. If the bolt head is aft the wind would actually blow the bolt out. Another example bolt head should always be on top not coming from the bottom. If the nut falls. The bolt by gravity is being pulled down still. Theoretically speaking I don’t think it’s right. But hey airplanes and cars are different

Hey Jesse, I know you upgraded to kings. But I recently got these on for my Taco. How high did you set your coil? I maxed out mines because I wanted more lift but the ride quality sucks. Is there a sweet spot you would recommend?
@JesseRizo
@JesseRizo Жыл бұрын
What’s up man!!! Yea maxing them out will not ride nice at all but that goes for any coilovers maxing them out just destroys the ride quality even if I did that to my kings it would be bad lol And yes the halfway point to a little under would be the most ideal for ride comfort you also want to make sure u don’t overload the eibachs that’s one thing I noticed when I started adding weight to the truck it got worse that’s why I ended up just going full send with the kings because I was going to add all that extra weight hope that answer helps out

I blew out one of the rears😅 I put a lot of miles on them so that’s part of it LOL and then everytime I would overload the truck I felt they couldn’t handle the weight whenever it was unloaded though they rode nice and I was getting front and rear bumpers so that was going to be a constant heavy load so I knew I had to switch them out at that point so that’s the main reason if my truck was stock still I probably would still have them so if ur truck is light with minimum Accesoriesthen these are perfect iffy truck is heavily built then no there not good atlesst from my experience

Would you have to cut or trim with 285 70 17s with this new lift ?

Hammering that bolt out against the body is only going to scratch off the paint from the body, thus causing rust.

Accoriding to the measurements in the video it was only lifted 1/4 inch. 37 1/4" before, 37 1/2" after. ???????????

LMFAO I though I was the only one that caught that... 1/4" lift oof plus that previous suspension looked way better quality than what he just installed. looks to me like this was a downgrade.

lmaooo was it suppose to lift the truck more? or just changing out old components ????
@JesseRizo
@JesseRizo 3 жыл бұрын
Both, so it Change components to a better ride and there adjustable so you can go higher depending on your needs as for me I just lifted it half inch higher to keep it leveled I was sitting close to 2inches before now it sits a little higher than 2.5inches Watch until the end.
