Toyota Tundra AC evaporator coil cleaning without removing the dash

Thanks for the tip! The blower motor is to the right of the AC evaporator coil and resistor. You can take it off with just the electrical connection and three 8mm bolts. The fan can be dirty too. It will give you access to the back of the AC evaporator coil.

Thanks for the video. So you are spraying in some sort of chemical cleaner, then washing out with just water, correct? I want to do this over the weekend. I also need to drop the blower and check it. It’s noisy.

Did you have any weird AC performance issues that made you do this? My 2005 is used for hauling landscape stuff a lot and I live in a super farmland area with tons of dust. Last month my AC started having temp fluctuation and seems to be whistling like the vents are closed at time. I had a weird smell one day too coming from the vents. Anything like this for you? Thanks for the video. I’m sure mines filthy.

my AC was not performing as it used to,. it felt clogged. since there s no filter in the tundra i assumed the evaporator was dirty, it s been working great since the post
