Meh? Apparently you don't know the difference between cartoon accurate stuff and promo arts style (which explains why you're using PA TMNT in your reviews). The first April was so bad because it was based on Promo designs from Nickelodeon, not MWF ones - her teen height, oversized head, squished torso, absence of neck as it is, flat chest, gigantic jaw-line, the amount of eyelashes and overall neon-brighter colors (not to mention the bad colored back of the belt and the boots with scratched paint) And CARTOON design - with extra long neck, auburn hair with narrow lines, slender jaw, more saturated colors and hourglass build is definitely on this ultimate version. Much like the turtles themselves - more dark-colored and realistic in general. Even when you stand both of them next to Irma - the first one is mis-proportioned with the size of her head and the width/length of the torso. Not to mention that Irma (and Vernon v1) have more appropriate pallet instead of bright colors. I was waiting this review from you for almost 4 months (I've got mine back in June) and that's what I get? A micro review with lots of subjective remarks about how the first version remains the superior, because I said so 3 years ago and would die from embarrassment to get beaten in so unpopular point of view. Instead I just use a weak dodge about non-cartoon looks, without exemplifying the aspects. No review of the accessories (and misleading information about "sleuth on the loose"), no deep look on the figure itself (you didn't even fixed her legs out of the package), not even the mentioning of Thomas Rozejowski in creation of this figure, even though you did so in gargoyles review. You're turning much like Trevor himself, too lazy to do a proper work, instead just reusing the previous parts on 6 figures in a row (hell, that's an old figure, right?) and having too much of an ego-problems with the inability to accept that someone can do better than you => Zammit forbade Zelu to redone all figure (leaving the height problem at large), because it was his sculpt, so he only let him to make new heads and torso. And all that just because when everybody told him that he screwed up with his version, he just refused to accept that and said that he doesn't understand the discontent of fans.

@@ToyShiz Then I'll be quick. 1) I was waiting 4 months for this review just to get a micro vid about your unexplained admiration to Zammit's version. 2) You didn't fixed figure's legs and gave misleading information about "sleuth on the loose" 3) You're completely missing the point that Trevor made v1, basing her off the official arts from Nickelodeon (where the turtles have light green skin) not the official designs from the cartoon. That is why the first version can't possibly be cartoon accurate and go along with the rest of the figures (aside from the turtles from the same arts). 3) The most heartbreaking part is that you forgot to mention Zelu's involvement in creating this figure (though you did so in the Gargoyles review). 4) Because of his massive ego and inability to accept his own failures, Trevor Zammit didn't let Zelu to re-done the whole figure, leading this to the height problem and to re-using those horrid arm joints from the first version. 5) And now you're doing the same by skipping the full review on this figure, it's accessories. And by refusing to accept that the first version was out of place without any clearance why do you think so.

I think you are the first person I've heard say that the old one was better, I personally like the new one better but hey choices are nice

@@ToyShiz I know that's what you pointed out but I really prefer the new one, I have her with my other figures and to me she looks great, but as I said there's options it's cool, you can choose

I think the older pale yellow goes better with the lighter promo art TMNT that you have in the review, but it you have the darker toon ver from the disguise pack or before, the darker suit color of the new one blends better, and is just scaled and detailed far better.

i do wish the humans were more in scale or release a taller Shredder in a ultimate pack he set the scale the rest had to follow.

I agree with you, dude, I love the original more, but this new one is still cool. Have you tried swapping the new head on the old body if that's even possible? Great review, time to refill my coffee.

No I know when I should leave things be when swapping heads and such, especially on NECA. Swapping the heads on the new one was a chore anyways. The pin kept coming out with the heads, so you’d have to constantly heat everything up for it to fit back together. Super Powahs!! Coming up next

@ToyShiz yeah man, swapping heads is always a chore, and I hate doing it bc of the break risk. We've all had hand or neck pegs snap on us, and it's always a gut-wrenching feeling. I'm looking forward to the Super Powahs vid!!

Nope. 2.0 all the way. There is nothing redeeming about that 1.0 with her shorter stature and Mardi Gras Head. Even the sculpt of the Mardi Gras Head is terribly done. The new one beats it out with it's broader proportionate shoulders and longer torso, and of course the headsculpts, and I mean ALL three in the 2.0 box. They're awesomely well done.
