Out of all the routers this one has more antennas than anything I've seen. It should give you a stronger more faster connection with all of your devices (unless occasional bouncing back on a d off). Love the color you choose for it. Does it have extra features?

Hello BMac: I was curious if you might know anything the TP-Link AX4400? I was in the market for a new router, and picked up the AX4400, and it looks almost identical to this router, and has identical specs with the exception of the overall speed, and the lights are in a slightly different spot, and the design is slightly different when it comes to the textured design. I picked my router up through the Office Depot near me. I was just curious if it was the same router sold under different marketing specs, or if it's a newer model? I haven't been able to find a lot of info on it. Either way, it's been a really solid router. I had it set up in about 10 minutes and it's just worked since.
@itstheBMAC2 жыл бұрын
Hey, Clinton! Thanks for stopping by. I really wish I could give you some info on the AX4400, but I haven't personally tried it out and wouldn't be able to provide you with anything more than what the stats/specs are. I'll see what I can do about reviewing more routers in the future!
@macinman2 жыл бұрын
@@itstheBMAC Not a problem. I did some checking around after I posted the question, and It looks to be almost identical to the 5400 but a different speed. People have also said it's a better value than the 5400 too. I paid $140 for mine, people on Reddit have gotten it from Walmart and other places for about $129. Since my apartment is only 877 sq ft, I find this is a good bang for the buck. Not too basic, but not overkill either. I also like that fact that it can theoretically host 224 devices between the 2 and 5G bands. TP-Link says 96 clients for the 2.4 band and 128 for the 5G. Currently I have about 33 regular devices in use (most of are smart bulbs.)

Hi! Thanks for the informative video. I have just purchased this router and have a question. I have a 200 mbps up/down plan and I am getting the speed until I am not too far from the router. But if I am 2 rooms away, my download is still strong at full 200mbps but upload reduces by about 30-50%. Can you please confirm if it's the same for you? @@itstheBMAC That makes sense 🙂. Thank you. I take it back. Would you by any chance get some time to review it in terms of testing it’s features that tp link claims? More like the speed test in all the frequencies, Range test, QOS features etc. I had purchased archer ax90 router a month ago. I have a plan of 100MBPS. The signal was so weak that I was not able to connect my phone to it just 15 feet away in a closed room. Yes there are 2 concrete walls in between but do you think it is expected ? Should I have changed the directions of the antennas to point those towards the wall for better coverage ? The other issue I started seeing was after a few weeks. Every time I needed to reboot the router to retain the original speed then the speed kept getting reduced slowly and eventually after a few hours the speed was in KBPS. I then needed to reboot the router again. I am not sure if I got a defective product or it was something else. I had to return the router. But now when I am searching for a new router again, I don’t find any better options (considering my budget). Would appreciate any suggestions.
