The man ran a tight ship with precision, and high expectations. He worked hard, took it seriously and expected it of himself and others by extention. Easier said than done when you are on Constestants Row, but we would all be better off if we had more of this work ethic and standards of quality in this day and age.

I agree with you. Mr. Barker certainly did. He really kept the game moving at a fast pace because it is an hour-long format. In hindsight, I really couldn't blame him for being impatient with indecisiveness on the show:)

Yeah, he had high expectations from his Barkers beauties also lol!!! He always had their backs, one way or another.

Barker should have said this is only an hour long show.

The lady eventually made up her mind and bidded and got out of contestants row. What pricing game did she play and did she win or lose?

How is it that Bob looked younger on his last show than he did on this episode
@taronjeroneharris13137 ай бұрын
Sometime around the early 90s he went in for plastic surgery, and they lifted his brow so that he wouldn't look so old and miserable.

Way before that he appealed to the producers to let him stop dyeing his hair. They approved and it was a graceful transition from then on
@tkso.philly-78687 ай бұрын
He did that because hair dying products used animals for their products. @AlternateRealityTV123

I’ve watched the show probably since 1978 and I’ve never in all my life seen this episode. I’ve never seen anyone ask about other bits. Maybe one time a little lady asked what was the highest bid and then she bit a dollar or a dollar under, but that was probably 1015 years ago this lady she looked at the audience and look back to the audience and then asked again about the bids. Just bad lady if I was, I would’ve thrown off the stage.

That game show would be much more exciting if the bids had to be written down with a time limit and instant disqualification when a contestant turns to the audience for help.
@Stewpitt3776 ай бұрын
They should have ended the show when he quit. Seriously, why would you keep it going? Bob Barker was the show.
