I have 2 of the play clippers ordered on amazon!! Supposed to arrive the 6th!! I’m super excited and can’t wait to start using them!! I have the XO clipper and trimmer as well. The clipper is absolutely amazing but my trimmer, not so much….. the trimmer is way way too loud!! I reached out to the TPOB team and they told me I needed to buy a new blade even though this was a new trimmer, so I did and the new blade was really quiet for about 1 day and now it’s just as loud as the old blade, which was also still new. So, I just don’t use my XO trimmer, which sucks, because I absolutely love the way it feels in the hand. Keep up the good work TPOB!! All of us real barbers love and thank you!!

@@sonnycormier5546not necessarily for example have you ever used x-ergo clipper by Gamma ? In my opinion that is the best clipper even after years. 10,000 rpm magnetic motor and for me the quietest clipper I’ve used after JRL yet more powerful than JRL

@@Vegitobluuuuu I agree but he’s referring to TPOB clippers. The ergo and Phantom from TPOB are comparable but he doesn’t have that one. A couple of years ago barbers were into loud powerful clippers like the Rebel and Boosted. Now they have quieter clippers that offer power as well. Maybe he just needs to oil or change the blade. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I just got the slime 2 and im already looking at this one. I'm only giving myself and my son buzz cuts at home, but It has to be said, it blows other clippers I've had (that are more expensive) out of the water. I've been cutting my own hair for probably 2 decades. My son is on the autism spectrum and the slime 2 is just quiet enough where he lets me cut his hair quickly and they cut so well, it has cut down the time it takes to give him a cut. My mother cut hair professionally, so I've been around pro tools. Job well done on this slime 2. I'm already eyeing this play, a trimmer, and skull shaver. Thank you.

I don’t have much experience with different brands as I’m not a pro, been using corded andis masters all my life. But I wanted some cordless joints cuz the masters are heavy af, so I started looking into options. I was leaning toward babyliss but decided on giving the underdog a shot. I said, what do I have to lose? Even tho I see Mr. Pob gets a lot of hate, there’s also a lot of praise to go with, so I purchased the “play”. Gotta say, man I’m impressed. Idk why I waited so long to switch to cordless, the play itself has some plastic yea but I like that it’s super light. It’s also ergonomic af (the sh*t just feels good in the hand🤷‍♂️) And some might not like the blade but for me, it hits right out the box. I spent less time debulking and was done a lot faster. Only thing I probably didnt like much out the box was the plastic lever, hopefully it doesn’t snap but it feels like it could be more robust. Aside from that, I’m now a fan so thank u Mr. Pob, job well done here. I’m all about the underdog and glad I gave it a shot, price to performance is also top tier. You mentioned you have a trimmer and a shaver coming soon that are also not white label, am looking forward to those! Cheers 🍻

Is it metal? It feels like it but it’s hard to tell. Almost has the same sound and feel when you flick it with screwdriver as the saber trimmers and those are super lightweight as the plays are very lightweight and very durable a good quality. Just wondering if it’s metal clipper at all?
