The linking boards and mirroring the status to the overview board really made it easier for my team. I've been searching for a solution like this but I only see how to add a progress column video which is not so useful if you only have one status column. Hi, the estimated time column is just a numbers column that is manually entered in. The time tracking is pulled from the lower level board.

Ummm, I would like to make work the progress bar but with subelements, I hate browsing all the way with monday. At this time I am trying to create on monday a board which I have in excel. Thats the reason I hate browsing in so many tabs.. tabs for mail, tabs for monday, tabs for google sheets, tasks for bla bla bla...

Sure, you can just add the progress bar column as a subitem. And then choose "show summary on parent item" (here is a video on how this works - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWemloevmMx9mck), let me know if this helps.

why the fook does completing subtasks not move the progress bar of the main task, its so dumb, all the task management apps are like this

I am sorry but I do not have a good answer for that, it is just how the platform works. You can do the subitem roll up which gives you the same view.

@@mastering-monday have you read time management books, all of them say that the progress bar is really important, do you know any other program or an easy way to do that, it shouldn't take much time to do because I don't wanna read a lot of time just getting ready to start start the thing too do you know an easy way to do it where we don't have to do much messing around creating a topic into subtopics below it and when you complete the subtopics the bar of the main topic should move up
