Should i lean more as the corner gets deeper or should i always have the same body position.

10x better if it had less POV footage and more of actual riding.

Pretty pointless video without footage of him actually doing it.

Can you do a follow-up video showing the positions, such as the foot position, new rider here and most of this is way over my head haha

Is it harder with a naked vs a super sports? I have a z800 and I wonder wether a super sport would help me lean better. Maybe it’s just trust and confidence.

I don't think the bike type matters. You can do the same thing on a touring, naked or supersport.

I think it is. Comparing how i feel on the z1000 vs the zx10r and rsv4. Maybe the high bars and the chassis has a lot to do with it.

Though it 'may' be easier or different depending on what bike you are on, the principal is the exact same. I'm a track instructor over here in Ireland, and we have instructors on Multistradas and XR1000's. We even had an instructor with a 1200GS before he got himself a KTM 1290GT (and yes, following behind someone getting their knee down on a GS while skimming the engine protectors off the ground is a sight to behold!! 😆 Though my weekend toy is a Panigale S, my two track/race bikes are a GSXR1000 and a Triumph 675. However, if the forecast is particularly bad on the morning of a track day, I have been known to take my old 95 SuperTenere 750: I would joke with anyone in Inters or Advanced that if I overtake them on that - I'm putting them back down to novices!!! 😆 But yep, after all that drivel, my point is that I would still adopt the same position, no matter what bike I'm on, but a smaller (600/675) bike will swap sides far, far easier than a litre bike: Oh, and the pegs/levers grind down very easy on a 23 year old SuperTen!! 😉

Depends on where you are. If you are just starting off, you can practice on any kind of bike. If you are chasing the last couple of tenth, proper rearsets and clipons are crucial. Naked's bars are higher than sport bikes' clipons. The higher bars make it easier to turn at low speed (city commute) but harder when you are hanging off.
@motorjack1416 жыл бұрын
@@StarAZ the higher bars also take less weight off the front and makes the bike feel unstable at higher speed cornering. At least that's what i felt on the z1000 compared to both 05 and 12 zx10r, as well as my current 2013 rsv4 factory.
