Sorry for the delay, update after a year, this diff is perfect. The spring load was phenomenal. A little but of clutch shavings in the oil which I was expecting. Change your fluid after about 1000 miles.

Yo, any updates on performance and longevity? Also what’s your experience with oem/aftermarket lsd’s? Can you describe how it acts and reacts? I’ve had experience with oem viscous, oem helical, wavetrac helical, kaaz 1.5 way clutch type, kaaz 2 way clutch type, nismo gt 2 way clutch type, welded and also a tightly shimmed viscous to act more like a 1.5 and 2 way. So curious on your opinion on its operation and reliability. Think for shits and or giggles I might throw one into my spare s13 open diff to see how it reacts.

Nice video. Came across this after seeing Traction Concepts on Ebay and doing some research. Thinking of trying it out in an open diff for a 07 350Z that I'm playing with. What actually does the locking the action? I didn't notice any friction discs that compress against the side gears under load from the cross pin. Is it a tapered/cone style friction fit using the collared washers and forcing them into the side gears? Thanks man.

Thanks for the great install instructions - any update on performance? have you drained and checked if there is any metal shavings or anything since it looks like metal on metal?
