Scott, your progress with your arm is fantastic, and your words are right on point. I had a reverse shoulder replacement on Nov. 10 last year and I remember sitting at my desk watching "Welker Farms" with my arm strapped to my chest and going No! No! NO!! when I saw about your injury. Congratulations on your recovery so far, you know that a huge part of how well we recover is our attitude and how much effort you put into your physical therapy. Keep on doing. Life is good, thank you all for sharing with us.

Born and raised on a farm in NW Minnesota, it was green though. OTR Truck driver for roughly 2.25 million miles and no accidents or tickets. Would love to drive your International! Also would love to meet your family and operate some of your equipment! My prayers for good planting conditions etc. May God Bless you all!

ALSO - Iam super stoked for the series 1 to get its day in the shop. You mentioned how much work your farm has already done to it over the years, but it needs the "new style" Welker Farms treatment. like the others. Your more modern day retrofits and rebuilds are all so good, and I just know this series 1 will be updated to look classic, but with a more "modern factory fresh" touch.

Confidence.... You say. I work at a heavy duty truck and hydraulic shop. Then my boss at come with a customer with a new and unique problem/task on a truck, crane or anything else. Then he ask me, "Are we up to solve that problem?" Then I tell him "That I never have tried before, so yes I can do it." Some customers looks very confused at me and some smile and then say, "someone has also read Pippi Longstocking aloud to you as a child". Because it is quote from one of the her stories and a good one have on your mind through you life. Keep up the good work guys and all the best to you from little Denmark.

I think all of us would if we were doing the same type of thing ( our jobs, but on youtube) anyways that being said, Its amazing how seemingly fast you bounced back from that injury. I remember watching that episode with my jaw on the floor, and trying to imagine just how crappy that was not only for you but everyone around you that cares about you. Iam not the religious type, but man... that situation could have been so much worse. Glad its in the past now and youve gotten so much of your strength and happiness back.

We are on the route between Headcorn Aerodrome and the Battle of Britain memorial near Dover so especially in the summer we often get treated to acrobatics of a Spitfire overhead there is something special about the sound of that Merlin though. After seeing slow the Dakotas fly though there had got to be something special with the pilots who flew those multiple times during Normandy as well as the glider pilots they towed back and forth.

Story time with leg arms... love it mate! Confidence can be confused as arrogance from time to time. But if we remain thankful for what God has for us, confidence becomes a very beautiful thing..
@gwbuilder57793 жыл бұрын
Scott, there are 2 types of confidence. 1) The ability to take on a challenge and know that you will be able to find a solution and improve it if needed. 2) The self assurance that the skills you have learned over time will help you complete the task at hand with a positive result. These two types of confidence are very similar, but the first one requires a positive attitude while you develop confidence as you step into the challenge and the second is actually exercising the confidence you have already developed. Overcoming adversity requires an attitude that drives you to develop new confidence in spite of limitations that you might have to work through on your way to new success'. In 2012 I had a stroke at 48 years old. Many things have changed in the past 8 years, memories lost and skills relearned, but through it all God walks with me every day. All I asked of Him was to still play guitar and be able to ride a motorcycle. God answered my prayers far beyond my expectations. Many people have prayed for you on your journey, including me, and God has definitely been answering those prayers. Yes, Scott, you and your family are very blessed. I know that your recovery has been much more difficult than the videos have shown, but I also know that you are far more than the person you see in mirror. You are not just what you can do, but more importantly who you choose to be.👍😉🇺🇸 You are the strong man your wife needs you to be and a super hero to those amazing kids of yours.
