Not only Marty makes good, interesting and informational videos, he is a fan of the Caterpillar safety film Shake hands with danger. I love these videos, no useless talking, no specialized branded tools that cost thousands, no fancy intro videos. Just a smart man with skill, knowledge and perseverance working on machines that he actually use in his daily work.

My Chinese tractor (diesel) had a dodgy metal fuel tank that was rusty. I took it off, cleaned it up and coated in the interior with a fuel tank sealer paint. That's been 5 years ago and I've never had a fuel problem since. Well worth checking the interior of your tank for rust spots! The paint is more like an epoxy, I screwed in plugs where all the outlets were before filling the tank with it and swirling it around. Where you can touch it in the filler pipe its like a hard plastic.

We should have a new term, 'To 'MARTY' it' for investgating mechanical issues !!! The term describes the investigative process of observation of and eliminating of every possible cause of a problem. Just look at how he demonstrates NUMEROUS sites of faulty operation. INCREDIBLE. He makes prior mechanics seem lazy.

I believe most people just get tired of a machine and sell them rather than doing the repair. If you don't repair them yourself it can get expensive. The key is to not get overwhelmed with a problem. Think it out, Identify the problem and go step by step to the final conclusion such as Marty does.
