Nice!! We still have a lot of diesel/electric loco's here. They are used for interstate freight & passenger trains.

Wish we had a yard close to us so we could see or film some of these start up. Feed the coal to 'em, we love our trains here in Clemson SC, Go Tigers!

Its thanks to videos like this that i learn so much, I thought the class 37 was for freight and the like because it looks so chunky and industrial like, I never realised it was a sort of forerunner to the InterCity 125 fleet that I rode to London for so many office visits :)

Japan has trains traveling hundreds of mph and here in the states we have 45 mph train's falling off the tracks..????????
@henkoosterhof5947 Жыл бұрын
Not on the straight tracks. These bullet trains take their time out of the station before gaining speed and reduce before their next stop. Over here: a freight train hit a crane wich was used to repair the tracks. How the ...? did that happen? An passenger train was on its own free track but hit the crane that was fallen on its track.

Because they have no Glow Plugs, meaning the cylinder temp is too cold. So the Diesel does not fully burn initially, hence lots of smoke until they start to warm up.
@jdekong39459 ай бұрын
