I had a professor say that the biggest pastime of people was comparing themselves to others. I’m learning to compare myself to myself. I look at how far I’ve come and excited about personal daily growth. Satan is a liar and tells us to feel bad about ourselves. Great video. I choked up when you did.😢❤

I have a lot of great things in my life, but I also have a lot of challenges in my current season. One of those challenges is a 25 year old son that suffers from mental illness. I’ve been encouraging him to watch you and I seized the opportunity to play this video while we were in the car together. I hope he really listened. Thank you, Tracy, for all you do! You are inspiring ❤

Thank you for this video and the person who left the message. In this day, it's so easy to see the 'perfect' side of everyone's life. Nobody is going to air their dirty laundry... unless they like drama. I deleted my FB page for this very reason. It's so liberating knowing that I don't have to pay pictures of my vacations, dinners, and date nights. I just enjoy the moment & live my life! ❤

A great reminder that life is not perfect. Thank you for sharing what people don’t tell us. I am listening to understand not just hearing. I will put that on a note card.

I never thought you had everything perfect, but I do believe some aspects of your life, like diet and exercise, are really on point, and that’s so motivating. While I'm not where you are yet, I aspire to have your level of discipline, which is why I enjoy watching you and have signed up for many of your classes.

Although I beleive the message meant well I think it's definetely a debatable point of view based on what a person is going through in there life at the moment to perceive that you were trying to pervay a "perfect life" I've been watching you for 7 years now and actually found your content very inspiring and never found you trying to come off as "perfect". I just love your taste in all things including how you carry yourself and if that breaks I wouldn't judge you because your human and we all have permission to feel and react within bounds. I think alot of how people see others has alot to do with whats going on inside themselves. I can't wait to see your gift guides and home tour this year Tracy! ❤

Thank you for sharing. It absolutely does. Perception shapes one's reality. If one perceives one's life as a contrast to someone else's, who has something they perceive better or want, they judge it as perfect. It's all mental. It's all in one's thoughts about themselves. I've been working with clients for 17 years. Our thoughts have power, and that power either serves us or it doesn’t. What one thinks about they bring about.
@8Justus2Ай бұрын
@TracyHensel Yesss! Exactly. Its like the Napoleon Hill saying “Whatever Your Mind Can Conceive and Believe, It Can Achieve.” and that includes your thoughts and how you perceive the world around you. Another quote from NH that resonates is " I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself." So to be envious of one's successes or to bring cynicism to one's happiness instead of being inspired by it means there's work to be done within ones self. I love it! Have a wonderful day Tracy!

I absolutely love your transparency on your Instagram stories. I’ve also been following you for years…since 2016/2017. I love seeing your daily routine, family, the simple stuff, exercises, walks, etc…. Off topic….do you add any seasoning or broth to your flank steak crockpot?
@TracyHenselАй бұрын
Thanks Laurie. For the Flank Steak, I drizzle a little olive Oil in the bottom of the Slow Cooker. I sprinkle Pink Himalayan Salt, Pepper & Dash Original Seasoning (no sodium).

Hi Tracy, I hope that you and the family are well. Firstly, let me introduce myself, my name is Sue and I'm the woman that left you this message. May I please apologise for the way it originally sounded. I say originally cos you may have noticed that a few days after posting that original comment, upon reflecting, I went back and edited that sentence as I felt that it may have sounded nasty and ill intended. That was not my intention at all. I am sorry for perhaps causing you pain over words that sounded a way that was not intended. I know that choice of words is crucial and that's why I omitted that sentence. It's not that I believe in perfectionism being attained on a human level that is only for God. However, I have known people in my personal space that like to portray themselves as having it all (not that you do this). I guess that I was not looking at your KZbin as a business that is being marketed. Let me say Tracy, I get you and I am with you. May I also say, dear Tracy how delighted I am that you made this video to address my misconception. I guess we inspired each other after all. I am sorry if I did hurt your feelings. Be well and safe and keep speaking to my soul. Your friend from a far xxxx
