I love how it was Mary Beths dream to have a bunch of kids and a farm, but she NEVER imposes that on her kids! Doesnt make them get up early and do farm work before school. They have a reasonable amount of chores for their age, and Mary Beth falls into her role as mother BEAUTIFULLY!

MaryBeth is such a special woman! Wife Swap, Trading Spouses, she’s the most warm-hearted mother of any other episode! The NY mother, wow! Just wow! How can she be so oblivious to how insensitive and just rude that she is? Not just to her family, but to everyone? It’s astonishing! I am exhausted just listening to how amazing she keeps saying that she is! I’m adopted, and obviously can relate to MaryBeth in a much different way. Especially with how I’ve raised my son! I couldn’t imagine ever treating him or tearing him down, the way the NY mother does with her son, and all of her children. When MaryBeth said that she should be proud of her children, the look on the NY mother’s face, was sooo disappointing! What mother acts that way? Especially on camera? This will follow her forever! What is the matter with her? Saying that she doesn’t feel Brian has talent? What? Who says these things? 🤦🏼♀️ We need more MaryBeth’s in this world and a lot less Janet’s! Just wow!

She didn't even know how to spend Glen's money because she didn't know anything about him. I mean, yeah they had no idea that she'd be the one spending their money, but still. I think they could have done more to hang out with her like Brian did. I'm happy Brian got money for his piercing/tattooing passion. I hope he ended up being successful. I really got mad when Janet said she was mad at having to share her money with her family and said she thought she deserved a treat. Like, for what? She already acted like her life was a constant vacation. I hope she changed in these 10+ years and became less annoying. The Levy family was really cute. No complaints about them. The kids and Mark put up with Janet well. I hoe they're all doing well today.

I am judging Janet's husband SO HARD right now, allowing his children to be relentlessly abused by his psycho wife. Yeah, she needs mental help, of course. But he doesn't, and he's fine with allowing this abuse. Also Mary Beth's husband. Why did he keep his impressionable children around when the "ghost-scammers" were there? He should've sent them out to friends, or made her schedule this nonsense when they were at school. Both the husbands were shitty in allowing this psychological abuse to happen to their children.

I agree.He’s got a lot to answer for,too.

the husband is weak and submissive like the children, hes lowkey scared of janet and is being abused by her along with the children

@@Undefinedcreature394 I'm still judging him. Parents need to protect their children they've forced into being.

Janet doesn’t appreciate MaryBeth being supportive of her son Brian? Geez, that woman should have never had children!

I can relate to my mom not being too into my art. At least, she didn't really like the style of my graphic art. She liked my writing. But even though the anime/fantasy style art I do "wasn't her taste" she was always supportive of me. She was happy I had a passion for something and was pursuing it to the best of my ability. I think that's how it's supposed to be. You support your kid with their hobbies even if you don't understand it. I'm no mother and have no maternal instincts but even I know that. It's a shame to see someone who just doesn't care about their child's passion like that. I hope Brian and others like him explore their passions to the fullest, regardless of close-minded people.

That scene where she was pushing the soccer mum to cancel her other engagement, OH if that were me I would have slapped her if she tried forcing me to make that phone call so she could cancel on my behalf. Even if I didn’t want to go to the first engagement, the way she pushed, such a turn off 😑

I keep commenting on all of these videos 😂😂 BUT---- Marybeth is so loving and just the perfect mother and wife. She deserves all the love she gets in return. And guess who's husband DID have a bouquet of flowers?? So simple yet I think that speaks volumes of the love Marybeth brings in. She is incredible.

Marybeth has a pure soul. I absolutely loved her and her family! Janets family was very quiet but nice kids. But, what kind of mother dislikes her own sons artwork. That mad me so sad. Support your kids- no matter what! And I loved her she said her kids were annoying... Excuse me, ma’am but seems like your kids are annoyed by you! 😳
