The only one I like out of any of these people is Marc! Both mothers refused to listen to what the others had to say. The farmer was a real loser just like the so called rich family. At first I thought perhaps they're nouveau riche but then I realized from them not buying any clothes in the stores and their house that they're not rich at all! Maybe upper middle class and they think they're rich. Real rich people don't boast all the time how rich they are. If he wants to be a doctor they should let him! The fake rich mother is dumb as hell! No idea if she's really a research scientist but she doesn't seem to get that it matters how you treat others not what you do for a living. I rather be friends with someone dirt poor than someone like these people. Like I said the only sane one was Mark. I really hope he became a doctor like he wanted and got far away from that abusive father! Also they look down on people riding horses like it's a bad thing. A lot of rich people actually ride horses. Apparently they never knew that knights were rich for real unlike them and that royalty even today ride horses!

I saw this episode when it aired Tv and I wanted to see if my opinion changed at all. It hasn't. its still my favorite. Those "ladies" at the dinner, have no manners and they all have most likely been replaced.

OMG. Janet is such a nacicist, there is only one person Janet loves and that is Janet. She is a horrible self absorbed person. The Solomons did not feel as though Mrs Parodi was good enough to tay in their hone so to show off they took her to say in a four star hotel as if to say to her look at what we can afford. Out of these two families i woukd rather stay with the more down to earth and welcoming Parodi's. I do not think I would feel very comfortabke in the Solomon household, I would be afraid of upsetting the perfectly plumped cusions on the sofa etc.

The Solomon's come across as self entitled needy people and they have brought their daughter up to be a super spoilt little madam, they themselves are acting a fantasy life of sorts that of the super rich, putting on airs and graces. I would like to tell that Solomon woman that here in the UK that is what life was like in the middle ages, so it is not fantasy but historic reality. To me fantasy is something like Star Wars and Star Trek which cannot happen and I do not expect it to ever happen.
