Traditional Bowhunting | Shots Fired!!! (NOT GOOD) Michigan Bow Hunting

In this video we are doing some late season bow hunting in Michigan.
I head out with my father in law trying to shoot some does with our bows. Tag alond and see how the evening unfolds.

Windage was perfect! Elevation not so much. Aim at their heart next time. Please keep shooting that recurve there’s old men like me out there who know how difficult and rewarding it is. Thank you for the video it was fun

I'm still trying to get my first one with my long bow , 2021 was fun being out there but all the deer movement was nocturnal , I'll be looking forward to the 2022 archery season , I was a compound guy for many years , and harvested some nice deer , but it'll be so much more rewarding to get it done with my Montana, great video!

Using the Re Curve and Long Bow is how I started out hunting deer Much more of a challenge and a Whole lot of FUN I guess that dates Me on how old I am lol but what fun it is the old way.

David , Missing with traditional archery 🏹 tackle is common. I see that you are not drawing your bow string between your eye and your nose. Your anchor point is very high on your face and you are missing.! Try a lower anchor point practice from an elevated position and be certain that your arrows are of proper spine and cut to correct length. In other words take lessons and improve! Everyone misses! It’s part of the Game!

Cutthroat 250 grain single bevel. They penetrate really well into the dirt when you miss.

i thought those broadheads looked right hand single bevel, but your fletching looks left hand. should match them up for better flight and penetration. fun video- good luck!
