I remember buying a striped coconut bar candy when I was a child. It was white, pink, and brown, but it all tasted the same, I make coconut balls rolled in melted chocolate at Christmas time. My recipe is similar, but I melt butter instead of sweetened condensed milk. I'm going to try it your way this year.

Hi, I just subscribed yesterday, but had been listening to your videos for a couple of years. My dad used to be subscribed and watched you regularly. Sadly he passed in August and I hadn't heard you again. Yesterday I was scrolling and I heard your voice and it brought back memories of dad and listening to his comments as you cooked. So I had to sub and imagine what he would be saying while you cooked again.

This recipe reminds me of a treat we have in the Philadelphia area of the US sold around St Patrick's Day. The end product is different. A bite sized serving of the mixture would be rolled into a ball then rolled in cinnamon. But I bet the texture and taste (without the cinnamon) would be quite similar.
