Good morning. This is so me. I will get up in the middle of nite to clean or decorate. I will change up my Christmas decor several times until it is just right. Your turkey timer is hilarious! Your garland may have shattered to dust, but you have the precious memory of the peace it gave you to weave together. I didn't get mine finished, but that's ok. OMG! I was laughing out loud watching you move the Thanksgiving tree! I wish my kitchen was big enough for a tree. My food prep was completed yesterday. What a special, unexpected treat to see your video this morning! I love your Thanksgiving tree each year and so look forward to seeing it. (I particularly love your hunt tree, as well, so I hope you'll have that one with the foxes and hounds, etc. again. I took inspiration from that theme and will use the many horses/hounds/fox items I've had for years, and also have added to my collection this year to do my own hunt tree variation for my holiday decor.) I also have my mother's Towle sterling, which is the simple but elegant "Craftsman" pattern. We used it every day when I was a child, but I only use it now for special occasions. One of my first purchases as a young woman years ago was a set of Oneida stainless flatware (originally made in my native New York State) in the popular and classic "Paul Revere" pattern. I have inherited a few other sets of flatware that I use as the seasons and my table settings dictate, but it's so nice to have real sterling for entertaining. Thank you, as always, for sharing your lovely traditions, decor and recipes to celebrate my favorite holiday each autumn.
