Hi,in your step5,can you pour the batter into steaming plate right away n leave it for 30 min before steaming?

Hello, it is best to first mix it one more time in the bowl before pouring it into a steaming plate after 30 minutes of sitting. That’s to make sure there isn’t any ingredient that sank to the bottom. If you have it in the steaming plate and then sit for 30 minutes, it will be hard to give it a quick mix

Hello, sorry I was thinking of something else earlier, this recipe doesn’t use lye water. I’m not sure why yours turned brown, mine didn’t turn brown. Sorry, that never happened to me

Can i use flour instead of what starch??

Sorry, no, you can’t replace wheat starch with flour. They are completely different things.
