Trailblazer / Envoy - Inner & Outer tie rod replacement & alignment

We replace the inner & outer tie rods along with upper control arms and sway bar links on our 2003 Trailblazer. Then do a quick alignment with a tape measure.

24:15 That little packet of "thread lock" is not thread lock. It's grease for the joint.

Could have used your cut wheel to remove part of the fender so the bolt comes out

If you still have issues, check the support brackets for the lower control arm. They also have to do with alignment on the Envoys/ trailblazers.

I can't get the traction control light from coming back, I changed the angle sensor three times, ac Delco, both lower control arms, clean grounds and on my scanner it shows 16 degrees off from steering wheel, this steering wheel doesn't have adjustment, and also the scanner doesn't have a pit for calibration, so alignment must be completely done and match to angle sensor with a scanner, every single alignment shop tells me that they don't do nothing liked that???? How I I'm supposed to match steering wheel position, angle sensor calibration and suspension parts together????? Please help

Best to change whole front ends, lower control arms and everything, sway bar bushings

Safety glasses for your son, Please. Especially with impact tools. Showing how to bend back the metal fender area to allow some wiggle room for the driver’s side upper control area left bolt gives another option. Others us dremels to grind down from engine compartment. Or cut with a mini saws all from the wheel well and bend back. Those methods would require painting to prohibit rust. The plastic splash guard Evan be bent to allow all these methods. Getting on your back and using two interlocked wrenches is the best way to break the bolts loose if stuck. Always the case if rusted. The Dannitor technique.

When you measured the driver side and got 1 15/16 it looked like the rule said 2 15/16.
