After the look on Joe's face when "talking" (not talking) about Dame, I'm more concerned than i was before about Dame staying on the team. But I love these new guys. Great building blocks for a prosperous team. The draft is the only way for Portland to compete for a championship. Provided they play vs. "develop" on the bench. Just need a young, talented, durable center. Great draft!

Dam i think history might repeat itself. It started with brandon roy having all the shine and then we got Aldridge. Roy gets injured and only played with one all star in his pdx career. Aldridge gains the shine carries the team awhile then we get dame. Dame gets the shine and recognition and aldrige leaves. Aldridge only played with one allstar in pdx career. We have dame til this point whos only played with one allstar in his pdx career. You could argue McCollum and grant are border line allstars. Now scoot coming in shining bright. A franchise whos cornerstones were plagued with an injury, a free agency fallout, and now potentially a trade. The only thing left that none of these players have achieved is a full pdx career and retirement. I hope that will be the case with scoot and i hope he reaches his full potential with an outstanding hall of fame carreer, banners, mvps, and championship runs.

Great group of young guys joining the team. As Blazer fans, we will always love Dame but it's time to move on. When Dame gets back from vacation Joe needs to sit down with him and ask what team he want to play for? Blazers (knowing he will need to play with these young guys and likely not be a contender for a while) or choose the team that he would rather play for aka Heat, Brooklyn etc. and Joe should make it happen.

No questions on too many guards and a major need for Front court depth, mainly Center. Exhibit 10's they brought in were all guards, why no Drew Timme or someone with size. They aren't winning squat with Nurkic whether Dame stays or not. C'mon these are questions Joe needs to answer. He is a lot like Olshey with team building, loves guards and doesn't address the most important problem with this roster. They need combo PF''S and Centers and true Centers with length on this roster. I do like the draft picks but needed to draft a center with one of the last 2 picks or at the very least both Exhibit 10's should have been bigs with length, power forward center combo's or straight up centers with length. Never going anywhere until they stop loading this roster with guards, small 2's that they consider SF wings

It will be a sad day when and if he goes elsewhere, but if you think about the years of hard work, to capture that coveted championship trophy ,! They clueless to think by trading number 3 and a player would put us in championship contention. Then they say in a few years, yea ok. Dame'll be 38 in five yrs right. Say we traded the pick and made the playoffs but failed in the next two, three or four yrs. What is dame going to do for the team who traded their future talent away at 36 or 37. With a 60 million dollar contract on the books for a small market team who struggles to bring in big time free agents. I mean I really want to know the answer to that question ?
