I continue my trek deeper and deeper in the the back country of Eastern Nevada with my good friends who have been exploring this wilderness region for 40 years. Find some great camping spots, cook up so delicious camp meals, search for ghost towns, old cabins and abandoned mines and even make a quick stop into town for resupply.
Part 1 of this adventure: • Exploring the Eastern ...

Absolutely the coolest outdoor video I've seen in a long time! It doesn't always have to be rock crawling and 3ft deep water crossings. That's not "overlanding". The scenery, the remoteness, the exploration, the self sufficiently of sleeping and cooking in nature. That's what it's all about. And you do that very - very well.

surprised to didn't run into The Chig (aquachigger). LOL He's been exploring all over those areas for weeks. Brad, thank you so much for continuing to provide these videos of your trips. I can't tell you how bad I want to tag along. I'm finally making that list of Jeep improvements in order to be ready enough. It will never be close to what you have built, but, it will work and the memories will be forever. It's going to be the first "big" trip with my oldest son, and I can't wait.

Brad, I ordered an extra bamboo cutting board on Amazon that fits perfectly on the LEFT of my Outback Adventure table. Now when I slide the right side out I slide the extra one into the left to support the fuel can of my BaseCamp stove. Works perfect, and keeps the fuel canister out of the way of my flame while I cook. Plus if I need an extra surface, I have it!

It really is amazing all you can see and explore and have to yourself out in Eastern Nevada. You need to come a little farther north next time and check out "Mount Washington" and the trail you can drive to above the tree line with the bristle cone pines trees and 11,700' summit. Some old mines you can explore as well there. Another great spot is the "Success Loop" just outside Ely, Nevada, not a hard trail at all but truly a gorgeous trail with plenty of camp spots. Not to mention the remote hot springs you can take a dip in scattered throughout the entire area. Glad to see you showing off Nevada, it truly is hidden gem that a lot of people ignore or just don't know about all together.
