Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I'd love to see you guys do this again, but with a few changes. Maybe give the train better weapons and introduce a re-spawn timer for the attackers. I guess you'd have to do that on the honor system, so when an attacker is damaged enough that they need to repair, just have them count to ten first or something like that. With a little work (or a lot) I can see this becoming a legit in game multiplayer mode. Like Dethroned is.

I agree. It was very cheesy when kAN just kept repairing in the first round and so on. It gave no advantage to the person driving the train. Especially if the train cant hit the targets, and when they do. They just instantly come back.

Nicely done boys:) I definitely think a stronger cannon on the train is a must, and it needs to be heavily armored lol. The chasers shouldn't be able to shoot the cannons off the train, and the train cannon should be an explosive one. Maybe set the train cannon to a 5 second pause before being able to fire again. Or maybe the chasers are allowed 2 dynamite bombs, which they need to drive ahead and drop next to the tracks without getting out of their creations. Not sure if the dynamite would blow up the tracks though:/ But it would take good timing to have the dynamite explode at the right time as the train passed lol. The dynamite would have an XOR gate set for a predetermined time that's triggered once its detached from the creation. The train guy might even be good enough to shoot the track bombs before he gets to it;) The train wheels need to be heavily armored as well. The trains weak spot should be a big stack of dynamite inside it, where the boiler would be lol. If someone gets a shot through the armor...BOOM! Again, nicely done:) This is entertaining enough to make a few videos on:)

Scrapman! For future reference the suspension setup for trophy trucks are called independent suspension because there is no straight axle connecting both of the wheels, that's why it is called independent suspension because the wheels have individual axles

I think this would have been more interesting, if the train would have got a stronger weapon (maybe 4-6 barreled gun, or the explosive cannon), and the cars weren't allowed to reset, so the train actually has a chance of killing them all and winning. Or at least lasting longer. Because now the cars had a too easy time overwhelming it.

this would be really cool as a 2v2 mode where both teams make a cart that has weapons on it and the train is set to auto go so both of the train operators can use a gun, or you could try to make a train and one make a cart

My idea for this was to have an arm with an anchor block followed by a stick of dynamite with a detachable block on it. So you anchor onto the train detach yourself and the dynamite would detonate after a set period of time. Really complex but fun

Suggestion: battle bay themed boat battle all boats have level 3 thrust boost types: boost: spudgun shoots a metal panel in front of the spudgun. this allows extra speed. must have 3 second cooldown boat types: shooter: max 5-6 weapons, can at most add 2-3 layers of extra cardboard armour, no boost defender: max 2-3 weapons, allowed metal grid armour(this means choosing defender lets you have a metal grid around your boat, the holes are filled with cardboard)no boosts. enforcer: max 2-3 weapons, allowed 2-3 extra armour layers, can have 4-5 boosts, speeder: half power level 5 thrusters, can have 1 extra armour layer, can have max 1-2 weapons, great distraction, can have 3 boosts fixer: max 2-3 weapons, can have 1-2 extra armour layers, allowed to call timeout for all players so teammates can repair. lasts for 10 seconds reaper: max 1-2 weapons, can have 2 boosts, can have 1-2 extra armour, can call 7 second timeout to let teammates repair interceptor: can have 1 boost, at most 3 layers of extra armour, 4 weapons allowed, guardian: can have 4 layers of extra armour, 2 weapons allowed, can have metal grid armour(this means choosing guardian lets you have a metal grid around your boat, the holes are filled with cardboard)no boosts.

I just got a idea for a new series ( or whatever you think of ) but imagine a multiplayer monday style but the goal is to completely over do everything, no rules use suspension glitch anything to complete the challenge in the most unique way possible. I call it Multiplayer EXTREME 😁

Scrapman you should play Space Engineers with your friends, I think you might enjoy it. Although it's a survival game, it also has a sandbox mode for you to make bases, atmospheric ships, space ships, and cars.

DUDE, if you had a challenge to build a train that survives against auto traveling bots as you go by each area they come and try and kill you when the sensors are set off they activate and shoot at where you should be! You could shoot back too though and kill them before your train auto runs along the track, into the cannon fires :-P If you could setup multiple rails next to eachother, you could have a train build off and fight to see who survives till the end while shooting at eachother :-D You would roll dice to determine whos on the inside rails :-P So in conclusion, there is a time trial survival train build off idea; and a parallel race with gun fighting between you all if you have the same speeds more or less :-) Could be evlution challenge too for that :-D Distance survived :-P measure it :-D

Suggestion: Kamikaze Planes One person in a large plane with a cargo hold just big enough to fit one smaller plane. Turrets optional. Two/Three people with smaller planes that need to land inside the cargo hold and self detonate. The one who blows up the plane gets a point. Or Two/Three people in the lage plane behind the stick and turrets. One smaller plane has a time-limit to kamikaze the plane Shortest time wins
