What a cute little steam train! That looked like such a unique and beautiful trip, you guys. How fun! That national park looks really pretty. Hola, I am very excited to see your videos in Argentina! I'm from Buenos Aires but I've lived in the UK for 7 years and it gives me great joy to see my beautiful country through your videos :) thanks a lot! there are many places to visit! If you have the opportunity to go to Bariloche (Neuquen) which is really beautiful, or Mendoza (many Malbec vineyards), or the Sierras de Córdoba, or the north of Argentina (Salta, Jujuy) they are all totally different landscapes. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Enjoy your time there! :)

Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. We're glad to be sharing our time her with you. We had a huge battle to get transport to Bariloche from El Calafate but we made it after days of waiting (and a lot of money😬) worth it though, we'll have that video on in a few weeks when we finish our time in El Calafate. We are already blown away by the different landscapes we're seeing as we travel up through Argentina, it's incredible!

@@TideKnotTravellers Thanks for taking your time to reply :) you must be extremely busy going around different places. I follow all your videos on your trip through Argentina, and I shared them too, with my friends and family there :) . You've been in Palermo where I am from (near the Sans restaurant, :) ). I imagine that it must be costing you a lot of money to go from one place to another :(, many kms to travel and sometimes there are not all the desired means of transport. The landscapes are extremely diverse. Thanks a lot for the excellent work you are doing and for making me feel closer to there ,hoping to see your next adventure there, greeting from UK, haha :)

Cannot go anywhere without finding the name Marco Polo used somewhere! 😂 it was our favourite place to eat in Ushuaia though and great coffee too! 😂 good to know we're not the only ones! The train journey was the real experience, the waterfall stop was an unnecessary stop added purely so they could sell you the pics they took on the way onto the train, touristy but worth it for the experience.

you have a wrong fact, the southernmost city in the world is Puerto Williams, since the year 2019, pass from a Town to a City, legally and constitutionally by the Chilean State, so you can fix that fact to not miss inform 👍.
@note77702 ай бұрын

From an Argentinian: there is not much funding for tourism, unfortunately, so we do what we can and as well try to keep it as wild as possible. Hope that you had a great time anyways!

@Athon518 ай бұрын
Ushuaia is the "end of Argentina" only: further south there is still a large territory: Puerto Williams, Cape Horn Archipelago and Diego Ramirez Islands, all of Chile. You should have filmed in the Chilean part of Tierra del Fuego: much more beautiful, fascinating and interesting than the Argentine part: there is the crazy geography with its thousands of archipelagos, islands, fjords and canals; its glaciers that flow into the sea, and the Darwin Mountain Range, with the highest mountains in all of Tierra del Fuego

Doesn't seem like the most welcoming place in the world, not that I expect that, it's more I don't like being treated as a financial unit to be exploited by the locals. Be great if it were off the tourist trail. I couldn't think of anything worse than traveling all that way to such stunning beauty then being treated like cattle on a cattle truck on their way to the abattoir LOL. Perhaps I should've gone there in my '20s when I won a selection trial for a community aid program there, but I didn't go because I was stupid. Seems they did alright without me at any rate. I've always wanted to go there but after seeing this I'll pass.

The train journey is VERY touristy but the national park itself once you wander off from the crowds into nature is peaceful and beautiful. It is possible to visit without going anywhere near the train as we show at the end of the video we returned by mini bus a few days later and hiked for 12km by ourselves.
