I'm always impressed at how good this route looks considering its relative age among Train Sim DLC.

As a local of Dumfries’s the station has changed so much over the years as there are only two platforms now and only two tracks

You know how there was a St. Enoch terminus in Glasgow, and how it was a part of this route? Well, what if there was an extension route to St. Enoch on Western Lines of Scotland, as it takes place in that generation!

Peter, Another splendid video. It was nice to see a first generation DMU from my train spotting days. My wife grew up in Dumfries and confirms that the name is pronounced Ker Koo Bree, with the stress on the last two syllables. Roger Crick

Roger Crick Thank you Roger. I can remember the 1st generation DMUs when I was a young kid, but they weren't around for too long unfortunately.

Really nice video. I think you should try the Three Country Corner route by JustTrains. Its really complex, but it would give driving without the hud a real boost in the realism area.

Nandha Kumar Thank you! I don't currently own that route, but I do plan on getting it at some point :)

very interesting video as always! following the cock ups in the video, have you ever had to redo a scenario due to a major cock up while filming or not?
@PTGRail9 жыл бұрын
Kirkinstein Thankfully there weren't any major cock ups in this video, but indeed I have had major cock ups while filming in the past! I save the scenario at each station when driving along so if the save function works properly (it doesn't always) then I don't have to restart the whole thing. :) I'll use this question in my Q&A video. Thanks! :)

Each engine had an output of 180 hp, not power car as they were equipped with 2 engines. This means you had a total of 720 hp

Great vid! It is strange to see my local towns recreated. I will be taking the dumfries to Carlisle trip on Tuesday :) in a 156. Anyway can you start doing route documentaries as well as train ones. Thanks :).
@huntergreedgaming90849 жыл бұрын
If u need help pronouncing towns just ask :)
@PTGRail9 жыл бұрын
HuntergreedGaming I do still plan on doing the route documentaries. I've just got to find the time to make one. I estimate each one would be about 30 mins long on average. To make a 10 minute train documentary represents about 5-6 hours work. So a route documentary will take even more! When I have the time, I will start work on a route documentary :)
@PTGRail9 жыл бұрын
HuntergreedGaming Thank you, I will :)

Those steamies sound a lot better in this video than in game. Is that a sound pack of some sort, or just an after effect put in by you?
