Just for the who may be confused...if you are black..you're hair is already curly. It's naturally curly. The curls just aren't defined. The definition comes from what he mentioned...cleansing your hair probably. Using the correct products that are FOR YOUR HAIR, etc. There's a common misconception that if you're black your hair is just "a fro"..no it's not..if you're hair falls between 3a-4c it's curly. And also don't think that your curls are gonna come out looking like someone else's. Some curls are loser and some are tighter..don't expect to look like a racially ambiguous person.

Thx Mom lol) i felt a lil hygral fatigue happening so i then braided my hair for the last 6 months(yes wore the same braids for 6 months straight) took them out in January 2024. Nice tips. If I can add, from experience, pay attention to if your hair really needs a shampoo. It's all fun until your hair is stripped from over shampooing and you can't get a comb through it. Now, I listen to my hair, if it is pretty clean I will just thoroughly wet it and use a rinse out conditioner. It really helps the curls if your hair is dry/stripped. But the shampoo is excellent when used appropriately.

regarding the moisture, make sure u deep condition every wash day and and if u need to co-wash every time your hair gets dried up way before wash day, to add extra lockage for the moisture use a leavin conditioner and a oil on top of that. regarding the curls being different idk if u can change it but it is common for you to have different curl patterns Also WATER IS UR BEST FRIEND make sure ur hair is a decent wet. hope this helps

Like what do you do in the morning, especially if you're starting out? Do you wet your entire hair and then condition and go? Do you sleep with a bonnet or satin cap on? Things like that, but especially for people just starting out. I imagine you don't have to do much once you have the curls. I want to see a video one day that goes into EVERYTHING from beginning to end and everything in between. The day you do that, it'll dead every other video out there.

This is great but how often do I do this routine that you’ve described? Like every morning and night? And also let’s say I’m goi g for something like your style, how do I take care of it? Like must I do something to protect it while sleeping?

lol it'd be nice if you actually showed yourself doing it not just saying what to do like going from a fro to curls.

really it's because everyone has been stuck inside growing their hair out long like it or not because of COVID-19 and so now we all want to know what to do with it besides just an afro. And we have time to take care of it too

Is this a daily routine or do I do it weekly?

I love his hair. You CANNOT train your curl pattern. Its what you're born with. You can alter it with chemicals and heat but is that healthy hair?
@Rozegolden4 жыл бұрын
I was thinking this too. And constant products on your hair (especially eco styler) isn’t healthy for your hair and will make it hard over time because eco styler gel in particular has proteins in it. Using that all the time will mess your hair up in the long run smh. I like his personality a lot tho! Hes fun and cute but the info being shared ain’t it tbh
@ivymora23704 жыл бұрын
Rozegolden um no not really unless a products has carcinogens or drying alcohols then using it once every week is fine, the problem would be product build up and that’s why I use eco sparingly.

Yes u can, what do you think waves is, training it to be wavey
@Rozegolden4 жыл бұрын
OBEYTHEBRUSH by Mahogany Wintour your hair ISNT gonna grow out of your scalp that way tho. You’re just manipulating your strands to trying to hold that form a bit easier but it isn’t permanent and requires upkeep. It’s keeping that form due to manipulation

@@Rozegolden it does grow out that way , but my curls are not uniform just like his, they are not perfectly separated root to tip after combing
