Considering the cold wet weather, I think a little training was definitely better than nothing. And besides, there's nothing wrong with physical exercise, so all that running he did was not a waste of time.

Yes I absolutely agree! And you’re right! Wasn’t an absolute waste of time thankfully 😅

He’s a prey animal and they get nervous because they can’t detect predators as well in wind and storms. Survival instincts kicking in 😂 but he did well he’s a good horse 🙌

Riding in bad weather is a common situation, nice to teach a horse that skill 🐎

Are you ever going to come out with your own patreon one of these days? If so, I would love to join.

Hey! So because of the taxes on Patreon being 60% for me, I don’t think it is the best option because so little of your hard earned money gets to me and my horses! However I do have a channel membership page set up here on KZbin and most of the money goes directly to us! If you would like to join that would be an incredible way to support the channel! Here’s the link to that 😊 youtube.com/@horseperfect?si=4n9WmUJ51WMd_Klz

@@HorsePerfect I tried the link but it’s confusing at the moment.
@HorsePerfect4 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear that! It also takes me to the main page from that link and not the members page that I wanted to share! You might see if you scroll to the right where it says Home, Videos, Shorts... The last one is Membership. If you can't see it there then you might see a button somewhere on my profile that says "Join" if not please let me know! I apologize that this isn't easier to find! Thanks again!

@@HorsePerfectOkay I found it, thank you so much. I do have a few questions though. If I join are there more videos that are only specified for the channel members? And what benefits does it offer? Thank you.
@HorsePerfect4 ай бұрын
Hi! Yes the benefits should be shown before you join! They include early access to every video! Also priority response to your comments no matter how big the channel gets. Plus you get a loyalty badge next to your name that shows everyone that you are a member! A few other things too. No pressure to join though only if you really want to 👍🏼😊

I know it’s been a lot of videos about the same horse! But hopefully I will edit and upload some training of different horses soon! Thanks for your patience and I think the results with this horse will be worth it!

Hello, I just purchased a new horse. She is a project horse. Half Arabian. I was wondering on what you would do for an impatient horse? She has gotten better but still she doesn’t stand well, always has to be moving by trying to go circles around me and gets impatient with the farrier and leans her body and moves to put her feet down so the farrier can’t do a proper trim. The past owner says she has been tied but not much but with how she has been acting and all stressed out, I don’t think she will tie very well at all. I’ve been working with her walking her around and getting her to stop and just stand. I also have been working with her to put her head down and give to pressure. I used a lead rope to try and get her feet up and stand calmly but she kept trying to spin. Do I just keep repeating those steps over and over? She also does really well with swinging the lead rope over her and around her legs.

Hi! Arabian horses are naturally high spirited and hot blooded animals with energy and stamina. You can train her to be calmer but you will always have to keep in mind that being hyper is 1/2 of her identity. Things that will help is to work with her (groundwork) before you try to trim her hooves so she is tired already and will want to stand still more. The more you work with her the better she will get just try to make it fun for her and not too repetitive.
