Been training with the Run Experience now for a few weeks for a marathon. The HARDEST thing to learn is that "It's not about the long run". My mind was so set that I wasn't running long enough. Everything else you do in the program will help you WAY MORE than the long run. Long runs are definitely a confidence builder but the strength training and injury prevention has really really helped me. I've increased my mileage steadily week over week with zero injuries and my long runs are getting longer and longer with less effort. Best program ever!!!

Your videos are amazing and I'm learning a ton. Thank you!!!! I'm in the Bay Area too and wondering if you have a local training group or personal coaching available. I definitely need some expert advise and help.

I hate running I never run but I've signed up for a marathon in 16 weeks and your first tip was that I should have a good level of fitness already. Well now I feel good!

Would love to get more ideas of exercises for my inner thighs that get stiff, painful while running or after my trainings, thanks in advance from Claudine

Hi Claudine! Sounds like you'd benefit from some thorough foam rolling of all the different parts of your upper leg. Learn how to do that here --> kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKGzn5epp9Z1fMU I'd also recommend this video for a full-body, 15-minute post-run stretching/rolling routine --> kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5qXlaKwacxnicU

I’d say as a minimum be able to run 5km non stop before starting a marathon programme

Funny because my first marathon is coming in 53 days and i dont feel fit at all, even through i'm running 17.3 miles at 9 per mile pace, which I think is pretty decent for a first marathon. I just feel tired. lol

I have never been athletic. I started walking for 3 km a day for four days. For the past two day I tried running the 3 km but my legs were in so much pain. Which kind of warm up should I do to reduce the pain when I am running?
@Jose-xe2pw5 жыл бұрын
Just do this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZXKp2l6haaNeLc Don't forget to cool down and stretch after your run. If 3 km running is causing you pain, you should reduce speed and check your technique. If this does not help better go to a doctor. Pain in running should not be ignored
