I fell to certain death and survived. Shattered hip and shattered pelvis broken right shoulder 10 broken ribs bruised lung bruised femur severe hypothermia. I was alone in the woods 6 degrees out real feel of 14 below. Lightly dressed q 60 second walk threw the woods too my truck took hours. Upon making it to my truck on the 3rd or 4th attempt I made it in the truck called for my own medivac. I fell at 52 currently 57 and almost fully recovered minus any distance running. Still live with misery but that will never change I've accepted my pain levels and realize they will never leave. You have to prepare for the impossible in life and it won't be when it arrives. NEVER GIVE. Months in wheelchair months with walker months with a cane . Make yourself hard to kill spiritually physically and mentally

Its ironic that ive worked out in this method for years and took some crap for it instead of following the crowd. At 60 im always working on quick twitch response plus strength with resistence bands and for cardio days i bike and for balance i have my electric scooter. Ive changed up my methods a little to keep things fun and challenging. Good to see im on the right path. Thanks fellas.

Being a nomad survivalist I've lived out of a tent most of my life, and not having access to iron to train i have to get creative using the natrual environment around, heavy rocks, swinging and axe, swaying a saw, using my hiking gear on my back as added weight and so on, the hardest part of this is being able to do pull ups because finding a tree branch thats strong and low enough as well as even enough is harder than you think, this is awesome because most of these workouts can be done in the middle of the woods with the most basic of hiking gear and nature

This kind of reminds me of my general setup outside except Idon't have as much money so it's way more ghetto and have to get a little more creative, lol. But that is part of the fun, I encourage people to try it has really added a lot to my routine. It's amazing what I can accomplish with spending very little money. a few bands, a couple cinder blocks, a couple big stones I found at the park, some old tires I got from people's garbage, on garbage day, a sledgehammer, a couple dumbells, a med ball, a homemade heavy bag.

I'm 8 years past when the docs told me I'd be in a wheelchair from a degenerative nerve disease, I'm really into functional weight training too. I do a lot of similar stuff to you in the vid, I also like chopping wood with an 8lb ax, carrying firewood from my wood lot to my house in log form, running in snow shoes, and digging projects with shovel pick and buckets to move the dirt. With my disability, I'm lucky if i can get half as much done as i used to, so if I can get a farm chore done at the same time as my workout, that helps make up for my decreased capacity with increased efficiency. Cool s tuff, I will definitely Check out your channel more.

Beautiful program, this is much like my Militia Fitness program. ❤ The goal is to train every day, some sort of physical skill or function. Pat's program is very, very similar. I have an "agility" day, where the point is to make fine motor movements quickly, quickly change direction, quickly change postures and body position. Anyone can do an agility workout bc you are your own governor.

I'm nearly 70, Broke my spine road racing Motorcycles in my 30s, and two surgeries later they had completely buggered my spine, I now had Adhesive Arachnoiditis, scar tissue turns to Bone and sticks everything together, Drs don't like talking about it as they cause it. It's degenerative and I really could have done with some medical advice, but got none. Then fabricated diagnoses didn't help. I wasn't living in a chair so I got myself out of that, took about 6 years but did it. I've always been in great shape up to my late 50s even when I was in the chair. Thanks to the lack of real information I ended up overdoing it and blew up my spinal cord, took about 5 to 6 years to recover from the lessons on my cord and in my Brain. I haven't been able to work again since, so I had to close my shop, but I was recovering again in my 60s until the COVID-19 shot burned me down. Now I've lost the use of my left arm too but I want it back as I want to ride again. I've seen some new shit on your channel which I think will help, Thanks.

I think that was missing at the end of the bodybuilding era, it chewed you out a bit too much and changed the tone of the channel a little bit too much perhaps. What I am trying to say is, you look refreshed and thats great to see! :)

As a natural I can't do full body. I've tried multiple times for a month and my overall work load went WAY WAY down because I didn't have the recovery. Having my entire body killing me/not working I couldn't get the output the next workout. I've always had to split body parts so for example while my legs don't work for 4 days I can still do upper body before next leg workout haha. I've tried doing lesser output workouts so I wouldn't be left so sore but it felt like I wasn't doing a workout that was worth while and like I wasn't getting any growth out of it. Plus I didn't enjoy not pushing myself at all in the workout.
