Rob Bailey is hilarious! I hope he heals up well! For me being over 50, injuries definitely destroy my gainz. Gotta avoid injuries! Fit over 50!

Same- I just got arthritis in my left thumb joint.....believe it or not, this has become a real gainz / training hindrance. not counting just been sick lately

oh wow! Yeah! impacts grip! Have you tried black seed oil or turmeric curcumin? They are natural anti-inflammatories. work for me!

Thanks for sharing this. I have advanced degenerative disc disease and am just coming out of a double hip reconstruction surgery. Have been trying to figure out what exercises I can do to allow me to continue to train. Brings me comfort to know that other fitness professionals have found ways to work through it, give me hope!

Thanks for showing us what you do when your back is not doing well. I have a bulged disc messes with the sciatic nerve. I'll do a workout and the whole week I'm hurt. I have to be so careful with the moves. Used to be so energetic now I have to slow weigh down.

Need more videos with Rob reminds me of the old KZbin. WHK! Two herniated discs and sciatica down both legs has made training a lot harder as I am about to turn 40.

Hey Dana, not sure if Rob checks the comments on his channel so I thought I'd post here too. We need more music out here, we're getting killed without it! Listening to his stuff during a workout is like eating ambrosia. Keep up the great work, both of you!

Same same!!! I have severe ddd and just had spinal surgery last summer to get. Fragment removed from my spinal cord I suffered for a month before they realized my entire sciatic nerve was being pinched off! It shut my entire right leg down! Even after surgery took almost 3 months to gain my strength back in my leg!

I have the exact things he’s describing crazy …I wonder if he feels the weird heat sensation down your leg like your peeing yourself…constantly checking myself don’t know how to heal being stuck in todays work force …😢

I get that !!, literally thought that was just me and it's usual when I've pushed myself that day n keep checking ,ddd and sciatica hurts so much if u sit around but surprisingly workouts help if u know ur limitations,which I still push when I forget I have injuries 😅😅😂🫣💪🔥🤨

Just like Rob, and many others, I also have degenerative disc disease. I have spinal stenosis, with 3 budging discs too -two in my neck, one in my lower back. For those of you making your comments about him “injuring” himself and not seeing a professional about it, it’s not injury induced, it’s lifestyle induced. The lifestyle of weightlifting, and well as anything else in his life that he’s done consistently over a long period of time that is jarring to his spine has caused this. You see a snippet of these people’s lives maybe once a week and the judgement is outrageous. 🙄 Trust me, this man has seen doctors. I’ve been dealing with this since 2012 and I’ll be 45 this year. For me it stems from many years on horseback. And a lot of days where my ass hit the ground from being bucked off. This has interfered with my weightlifting big time as well. Dana or Rob, if you see this comment, would you consider filming a video centered around Rob’s workout routine now that he has to work around his back issues? I also cannot have any load directly on my spine or hinge unsupported like Rob, so I’m very interested to know his modifications, and yours as well, Dana, for these types of restrictions. Thank you.
