So inspiring. I posted a couple weeks ago on another video about applying for SEAL Officer. Well, at 33 years old I just found today that I received an invitation to attend the SEAL Officer Assessment and Selection (SOAS) course this summer as a lateral (from the Navy reserves) candidate. Not letting those who doubt my ability to survive at my age limit me with their limitations for themselves. Just know that a rusty 33 year old SEAL officer candidate is watching your videos each week and finding motivation to keep the fight/dream alive. With your help I've already made it farther than most told me I would.

Hi Josh, had the pleasure meeting and training with you in Manchester with the Good Dudes shortly before my heart procedure. I was told 3-6 months recovery by my doctors, my surgeon said with me being in good shape 6 weeks was possible......stayed sensible and was back in 6 weeks. Would have loved having these videos during my recovery, totally inspirational. Good luck and hopefully get to meet you again in the future.

I actually watch your videos as motivation through the misery of my injuries and the uncertainty of what I can handle anymore. Now I do long walks, take things slowly. I wish I had your height, it seems like taller people get injured so much easier.

Thank you Josh for posting these contents. I'm recovering from an adductor tendon tear and watching at your videos everyday. Since I suffered depression for other injuries in the past, listening to your mentality speech keeps me motivated and pushes me to keep training. I stole your workouts as well. Thank you Josh, big fan of yourself, can't wait to see you back on competition!

Hi Josh been catching paying the man as I am able Working through injury can be tough, especially for those who are used to being active I think it's cool to see an athlete who's well known display the ability to step back, adapt to what you can do for the time being, and keep getting after it. We often see athletes at their peak, or after they have recovered from a set back. Rarely do we see them recording and posting the process. You mention being aggressive in your goals. I've heard it said the truest max effort may be the one you fail. It doesn't mean you will always fail. So you gotta keep tryin & not be afraid to come up short on occasion . Keep up the good work

That mind set is why I watch these videos. I have always dealt with stupid people telling what I can and can’t do. Or because they can’t do it then I shouldn’t be able to do it. Whether it is education or physical abilities. I grew up with allergies, asthma, epilepsy and the best days are proving those people wrong and making them look stupid. Had car accident last year and now have 3 herniated discs. Found a routine of good core exercises and now I am doing better than those who don’t push themselves.

Good to see you down to one crutch, Josh! Keep it up. As you can see, you have a community here that is rooting for you the whole way man. Quick question... you were talking about having crazy goals and NOT listening to discouragement; that if you want it, you should go for it. My question is this: you are coming off an injury and are getting into your late thirties. Are you still aiming for a CrossFit championship? I certainly hope so. It would be awesome to see someone overcome obstacles others may regard as insurmountable.

I never comment but your advice about going after your goals no matter how crazy really struck me man. I’ve wanted to go into SOF since watching that Class 234 documentary. But I’m not anything special. In fact, I’m pretty average, even below average at most things. So when I’ve told people my goal they looked at me like I had a dick growing out of my forehead. Forget them. I just put in the work that’s required every day. Again, thanks, I hope you recover soon from your injury.
