100% 900Lbs bench press because now a days it’s becoming a bit much more possible to deadlift and squat 900Lbs so a a 900lb bench press is very rare and shocking 😮

It’s equipped which helps a lot. He benches 900 equipped and probably 550-600 raw.

The old guy seems like the best person to just gain wisdom from not only in powerlifting but in life you can see just from how he interacts with mr ridenour the old man has so much knowledge and I feel he has seen things and still has so much joy this is why powerlifting doesn’t have gatekeepers because everyone I talk to at powerlifting gyms or when I compete everyone is so nice and kind and if anyone out there is thinking of starting powerlifting just remeber these 3 mindsets 1. NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE NUMBERS people want to see you push yourself (I’m not hating on mr ridenour for talking about numbers this is for people not doing social media) 2. Be a sponge you someone will always know more then you and don’t be afraid to make friends in powerlifting competitions or at gyms ask for help ask for criticism so you can be better ever day and every competition and be willing to try new techniques 3. Be kind to others it will go a long way in the journey of powerlifting and in life those connections will help in the long term ( do onto others as they would do onto you ( this isn’t a hate comment towards anyone it’s to anyone seeking advice ) Tyson bro you are an amazing creator bro keep up the great work world record coming soon also glad your hand seems to have healed

Great video ,bro . That old man is freakishly strong . I wonder what is his stack of anabolic steriods to get to such a herculean level of strength. His testosterone level must be at 10,000 ng/dL or even higher. No natural weightlifter at 62 could lift so much weight without taking AAS but despite this fact , congrats to him on his impressive accomplishment.

An amazing insight into a record bencher. I think Tyson will gain a lot of strength from the techniques Cole went over. to me, the 900 lb. bench is harder as the muscle groups involved are way smaller and the technique has to be spot on or it's a "no lift".

TYSON MY FRIEND I'M TOTALLY NATURAL AND MY BEST BENCH WAS 485 AT 53 YEARS OLD AT 62 I DID 420 ALL WITH A PAUSE. IF YOU WANT TO MINIMIZE YOUR STICKING POINT GO WIDER THE TRANSITION FROM CHEST TO SHOULDERS AND TRICEPS WILL BE MINIMIZED TODAY I TURNED 69 AND BENCHED 315 BUT I TRAIN ATHLETES NO TRT. WIDENING YOUR GRIP MINIMIZES DISTANCE GO GRADUAL PUT THE BAR JUST BELOW YOUR NIPPLES GOOD LUCK SON
